You can also google submarine style carto tanks. These have a knurled screw in the side of the tube to make filling easier.

I've read some people are having flooding with this type of tank. I think it had to do with the fill screw not sealing air tight thus allowing air to enter the tank so the carto gets flooded. Makes sense since its the vacuum in the tank that prevents liquid from free flowing into the carto. Do any of these tanks have an o ring on the fill screw to seal it?
I've not had any issues with either my polypro or Pyrex tanks... and yes, they use an o-ring on the fill screw of the polypro tanks and a hard rubber (EPDM) "plug" with aluminum knurled cap for the Pyrex tanks.
They actually recommend removing the plug when the liquid level gets down to around 1/2 to 1/3 full to allow air in... sort of "burping" the tank.
