Hi Imeo, I don't think anyone is complaining about the cost. It's the availability of the supplies that's the problem. In my opinion the suppliers should ALWAYS have wire and wick in stock except in rare unforseen occasions when something unexpected happens. But it seems that usually my supplier is out of wick and wire and that's a problem. I love my Ody's & Iatty's, vape them every day all day and don't ever want to be out of the supplies that are necessary to vape them. That's the reason I've found another source for wire and am looking for another source for wick and I buy it in larger quantitys when I find it. When smoking analogs I never bought packs, always cartons and if the store I patronized was routinely out of stock, I just found another store to go to. And I certainly don't mind the store making a fair profit. I'm an accountant who works with small businesses every day. I know they must make a profit or they'll be out of business very soon. I sure don't want any of you guys to go out of business cause I love your products.

New the the world of rebuildables. Just received my first Ody (new), but it arrived with only one 10cm strand of wire and half of the o-rings are sliced in half '
Anyway I'm about to buy my first bunch of wire. I want to make up some LR atties so I just need some confirmation that I'm buying the right stuff. Would some 0.17mm Nickel Chrome Wire and 0.2mm Soft Fine Silver Wire 99.99% do the trick?

A friend put me on to wires.co.uk for supply. They're a little more expensive then some of the suppliers linked in previous posts but could possibly work out cheaper as you're not paying multiple shipping rates. Here's the link

i was on "notify me" with COV and they emailed me fri afternoon that it was available but by the time i got to my camp in maine 3 hrs later and got the email it was sold out .

why bother buying a high priced attie when you can't get wick for it?

woody, wicks and wires are everywhere. Penelope is the atomizer that you cant find everywhere. I only make the atomizers and the fact that I send wicks and wires to my sellers is because I am sure that they are better than what exists in the market. I could send none of those things to my sellers and I would still be a good manufacturer

I didn't even get the notification. But fortunatly so far all of Imeo's rebuildables have come with a meter of wick out of the box. Given the length of wick needed each rebuild you should be able to get close to 20 wicks from what it comes with. Even if you are picky like me and have to change it out every day that is still 20 days worth of wick included. Also most of my 1 day use wicks can easily be cleaned for a second day which I usually do when my wick supply starts running low.

I got kanthal wire and silver wire today. Both from different sources, but the shipping took just a week for both packages.
Just in time.

I bought silver .999 pure 0.25 mm from Israel and Kanthal A 0.20 mm from USA, both ebay. Shipping from Israel was free, from USA it was 3.95 USD.
Silver was 9 USD for 40 ft, Kanthal was 10.25 for 200 ft.
I can post links if anyone needs them.

Yep, the price of Rio Grande silver wire is almost half cheaper then from the Isarel seller. But the postage is killer for non US destinations.

Ahh. Gotcha. Then both sites make sense for all. I just wish I has ordered from Rio today instead of the other site. Good to know. Either way I'm set for a couple years on wire. In 2014 thoigh I'm definetly going to save that $14!!! Hahaha!!!

But I did find it for that price just w the diff type or wordage
