To start off, I'm in the USA, so that means i've got to deal w/ FDA
I recently bought in to vaping. Just received my Blu last week. I know many here have qualms with this company, but honestly the price was right for what was received. And I received my product in appx one week. Not a bad product at all...

ANYWAYS.....I've been vaping NON-STOP over the weekend. Only breaking to go to work. LOL!! Needless to say I love it. I'm looking to hold on to my Blu as my "out and about" vape, but I'm looking for something to use at home. Preferably w/ an available USB passthrough, reliable atty and high vapor production. I'm currently looking at the Janty Stick, as well as Totally-Wicked's Platinum 901 Package. I'm curious about Pen-styles as it seems they produce great vapor, however, I've only so much time to do research and was hoping anyone could throw some suggestions w/ links my way. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Current spending limit: $150 usd

Side note: I don't see myself being much a dripper/dipper, as it seems the atty's longevity is increased by obstaining from this. But I'm definitely going with Totally Wicked's Juice to refill, as I've heard nothing but amazing reviews.

I love my manual switch Joye 510. Vapor and throat hit is almost analog.
You can get a pass thru as well as a pcc charger kit that lets you keep a fresh charged battery at all times. I'm very happy with mine. I bought mine at Eastmall.com. Great service and prices. Always has stock. This was my second brand e cigg. I smoked a Npro mini for a while. Not close to the vapor production of a 510.I hope this helps.

So I just got my Penstyle yesterday from LiteCigUSA.com and so far it has produced a really good amount of vapor! I am just going to keep it around the house and not bring it out cause it is bigger. I think the Blu is the RN4801, which I also have and that is the one I take out (vs my DSE901) and it is great for wherever use. I also got a Vx2 from litecig yesterday and I might start alternatiing between taking that one and my RN4801 out.

Buy something with a manual switch. The Titan (510) or Screwdriver from TW look good. The primary benefits of using a manual switch are that you can tailor the vapor production and throat hit by how long you manually fire up the atomizer and the batteries are sealed off from the atomizers so you can experiment with dripping not fearing that your going to flood and kill your power supply. If you can spring for a passthrough for the 510, you will extend the life of your batteries.

There is a reason why experienced vapors on this forum have primarily moved to manual switch PV's. The only problem for you is once you get a good manual PV, you will put that Blu in the drawer and forget you ever had it. I would check out these links:

OH
I have both 901 and 510 "Yeti" passthroughs and personally I prefer the 510 (which has a manual switch). IMHO excellent vapor!! By the way I drip and the only time I had a problem with the atty going bad was when I tried to clean them and didn't wait until they had dried out lol
And as I have said many times before there are many good suppliers listed here on the forum but I get mine from altsmoke.com as he is my son and I think he is the best :)

I have the Janty Dura-C (manual), 901, & 510 (manual)
The Janty and 510 are basically the same, parts are interchangeable.
I ordered the 901 last and have to say I wish I didnt, the only thing I like about it
is the carts are not round. I use the carts on my other two.
I am going to be searching around for another ecig that has longer battery life, batteries in mine only last 1-2 hrs.

I discovered my passthrough will work for my Janty & 510 without even being plugged into my usb port. I probably should have realized it sooner, due to the fact it has a battery box on the passthrough.

Thanks so much for the recommendations. Based on the suggestions here, some other reviews, and the fact that Janty is out of Sticks 8-o, I picked up the TECC-510 Titan from Pillbox38 (Totally Wicked) w/ a USB passthrough and some extra carts. :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
Depending on it's performance, which from what I've heard is brilliant, I may end up pickin' up the PCC and selling my Blu. Sad I haven't even had it for a week and I'm already considering getting rid of it. Meh, maybe I'll keep it around as back up...

Now if Janty would just release the E-hookah all ready, I'll be set!

Pretty much anything with that has a USB passthrough available would suit you. No reason to deal with battery's if you plan on being at home (esp. in front of a computer or near a wall socket) all day. Good luck with your choice, you'll most likely love whatever you choose, and I'm sure you'll be buying a second device shortly after wards... its addicting!

$200 in two weeks? I guess that's not too unreasonable, after thinking about it, I've spent over $200 in the past 5 days. I kind of consider it a hobby, a hobby that will save me years on my life, intrigue me with new advances, and occupy my time telling all my smoking friends what they are missing out on.

One thing to think about is, after all the hardware is bought and paid for, the supplies you'll need (empty carts and juice) will be much cheaper than analogs; but there is always a price point. Its just like buying a hybrid car, sure they cost more, but the money you save in fuel will pay for the car and more after a little while.

Probably the best comparison I've heard yet

I'm beginning to realize that this habit will in ABSOLUTELY NO WAY be cheaper than smoking analogs. I've already spent nearly $200 in 3 weeks. Absurd! On top of it, I'm still smoking an average of 5 analogs a day. Hopefully the 36mg juice will take care of that!

Hehe Im at 1k in 6 weeks ;) Loving my 510

I'm late in joining the thread, but not too late to congratulate you on your purchase of a 510. I think you're really going to like it. The original Janty Dura (which was the 510 with an automatic battery) was my first e-cig, and I credit it for getting me off analogs almost immediately. When the 510 came out with the manual battery, it only made a great product even better.

Really, the only downside to the 510 as far as I'm concerned is that the battery life is too short for a heavy vaper . . . but if you have a USB passthrough, that basically becomes a non-issue. ;)

As for the money you're spending, try not to freak out too much. As others have said, it's a hobby. :) Also, as you've already figured out, if you settle in on a model you like, your hardware expenses will drop dramatically . . . unless you're one of those folks who just needs to try everything. (Ummmmm . . . that would be me.)

And, of course, you can't put a price on your health. :)
