Good idea or asking for trouble? Canned air

I'm not sure if this is a workable thing or not. Has anyone tried 'canned air' for blowing out their dripping atty? Am I going to damage it doing so? It seems to get more of the juice out for changing flavors. two short burst is what I have been doing, before changing to a different flavor. I don't want to soak it each time, and some of the juices just are nasty if mixed.

I don't do that, I usually just drip some plain PG in to take out the flavor and then start on the next one if they are flavors that really don't mix well.

But, as long as the coil isn't hot, I don't see any reason to discontinue what you're doing. Seems reasonable to me.

I read somewhere that this wasn't a good idea but I can't remember why and personally I don't see what harm it could do if you are just doing short bursts. Long bursts can spray out liquid. I should know what that liquid is but I don't but I wouldn't want it on my atty so short bursts seem fine to me.

Edit: After reading what wiki said about canned air, I'm leaning towards it's not advisable.

In addition to putting garbage chemicals into your atty, at least some of the canned air products have pretty decent output pressure, high flow rate, they might mess up the coil or wick.
