Before anything thank you for reading this one and i would really like your thoughts. i have a couple of people that would love to start the switch to e-cigs, but the cost to get setup and started is to much for them at one time. which if they did want to make the switch they probly could but thats not the problem. its puttin gthe money into something you dont know how will work for you when you have other things to take care of, and cigs are on a day to day basis. i was thinking tho there are so many people that have tons of devices and tanks and extras and all that maybe they wouldnt mind helping someone that cant afford them. and im not talking about selling im talking about giving them to the people that would like to make the switch. no profit on any end except quitting. idk if its a bad idea because of how much you spend on mads and everything already but if you have alot sitting there its kinda a waste already you know. but if anyone does have some good or bad comments i would like to hear them. as for my idea it came from my sister that wants to make the switch but money is to tight. i had to take a payday loan out and pay it off in installment to get my first set up. just think it might be good for our cause.

Zac-o, I've been away from ECF for a couple of months but I can't believe it's changed so much in such a short time. I'm not sure what your exact idea is, but basically what you're talking about exists and happens all the time here. I've seen it in the classifieds, old kits being given away for free, and I've seen it in individual threads. In fact there is a subforum (Pay it forward) that was started, at least that's my understanding, for basically this very reason. Perhaps you can contact one of the moderators of the PIF forum and see how you can help or what help they can give to you or those you know.

The PIF subforum does have an emergency needs thread however, it is to help you through a rough patch for emergency situations only.

We don't solicit donations, but our members are often very helpful, if you have an emergency need, be sure to see our rules here;
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-usa-please-read-first-post-requirements.html

;)

Please contact a regular forum mod before soliciting for donations...

Just a thought here. When I switched, I bought a reasonable starter kit ($30 range) and held onto my cigs, and for 2 weeks, I switched back and forth just to get my footing, to see if I would like it, to see if I could make the switch. And during those 2 weeks, I calculated how much money I saved by cutting back on the cigs (about $2 a day) and took that money to my next round of gear / juice. Then, I cut back even further on the cigs for a week, and used that saved money for the next round. Now, my budget to build my stock is based on a percentage of my monthly cig expenses. After being cig free for a couple weeks, I've got gear I'm happy with and a stock of bottles upon bottles of eJuice that will last me months. BTW Mt. Baker Vapor usually kicks in a freebie bottle of juice if you're spending around $20 bucks, so keep that in mind.
