A new user had a very good idea - Make some noise on the Rachel Ray forum to persuade her to do a follow up piece on e-cigarettes. It seems Ms. Ray has a history of revisiting segments which get a lot of comments on her site. If a good number of us go there and (politely) explain how electronic cigarettes have positively changed out lives, as well as clear up some of the negative misconceptions, then perhaps she will give this technology a fair shake.

Being a new user, this person could only post the idea in the New User forum, where it will likely fall off the first page unnoticed. I figured I'd repost the idea in the campaigning forum where it might be more likely to get noticed. The RR forum discussions for the episode in question are here.

Gosh I want to help out so badly because just waiting for my PV to come in the mail I have only smoked a couple of analogs instead of packs and packs. But it will not let me login even after I've activated it for the RR Club. I will try tomorrow since I'm already very mad about the USPS not getting my package of my PV to me today :D

Again, you can see some real feelings on the doctor when he says, "mired in political controversy".

You can tell he knows its a hopeful product and it's getting withheld from the public unfairly.

These are the type of people that need to be contacted and told that we know what they're talking about and we know how they feel.

And we(the consumers) are getting tired of this crap.

As far as Ms./Mrs. Ray goes, I would bet the ranch she is an ex-smoker who quit and now has that "Holier than Thou" attitude.

That's why she seems to know how to handle a cigarette.
She prolly smoked about a hundred "Pall Malls" a day.

"My problem is: I talk and get overly excited," she says (her publicist later confirmed Ray does not smoke). "I'm breathing wrong. I’ve bruised my vocal chords. And I never shut up long enough for that to heal. They’re going to try to teach me how to speak properly. I don’t know if an old dog can learn new tricks, but I'm going to try."
