I just recently got into rebuilding. I picked up a kayfun lite plus clone by tobeco. It works great when I get the build and the wick right. Right now i'm running it on a vamo v5 which restricts the resistance to 1.5 ohms. I would like to get a mechanical mod so that I can run a slightly lower resistance. I've seen a thread on here at some point where someone suggested that the kayfuns don't work that well with sub ohm coils so I think i'll start out around .8 ohm and see how I like it. Does anyone have a suggestion for an inexpensive but well made mechanical mod that I can try out?

I found an Hcigar Nemesis for 32 dollars shipped last night on ebay and it is on the way. There were multiple vendors with them at this price point. The Nemesis has the lock out option for the firing button. Some of the others may mentioned may have that as well.

Might I suggest a magnet upgrade while you're at it? The button is the weak point in the Nemesis, and the magnets help greatly (from what I read).

So?

If it bothers you so much, ignore them rather than coming in with the specific intention of ....ting on someone else's thread?

I'm not trying to make OP feel bad, just pointing out that there's many threads asking the same question and there's really no variance in the responses that people are giving.

From my experience, get something that's over $15 and I personally never pay more than $25 (from focalecig.Com or fasttech.com

Check out user reviews and diameter of your kayfun vs diameter of mod for aesthetics.

You don't want any hard to push buttons. ( or maybe you do ) again, check feedback .
