Woo hoo, 4 day week! Thanks for turning the lights on, Ty! I had an internet free day yesterday too, except for morning check in. Went to grocery store, baked cookies, made a vat of pimento cheese for gifts, and went to see my little chubnugget who is just adorable.

Now let's have a good week and GET THIS OVER WITH!

Good evening All,

I took a break from the internet as well. I spent a loong time yesterday trying to sort out the Christmas lights. Last year they were put away in a jumble. What a mess! Tomorrow, the Christmas tree goes up!
Now if I could just get the shopping done......

DH drove over the road at one time and I totally hated it.

My husband manages construction projects in Hawaii. We used to live there but we were both homesick.... he goes for about 3 weeks and comes home for 2. It was really hard to get used to but I'm okay with it now....

until I have to shovel snow.

I think that I would have stayed in Hawaii and came back to visit a lot!!

Kitty, you are exactly right. There is no place like home. It's a lot easier for my hubs to come home on the company's dime than it is for a family of four to foot the bill for a vacation home. Plus, it was EXPENSIVE there. Our living expenses are about a third what they were.

Hmmm....Hawaii....Nope. I'd miss the seasons.
No place like home for us is not in the city. It's up north and looks like my avatar. One day I'll move back.
Either that or ...Ecuador? Hmm....

Good Morning All,

Looks like Kitty has slept in......perhaps kitty jr went on the prowl last night.

I'm going on the hunt for some plain piller candles...red one, white and green. I can find scented ones, designer shades of these colours but not your basic red, white and green. Wish me luck..
