I loves me some alliteration. :D

Has anybody else had the hum of cicadas all this summer? I like it, it's sort of soothing...but sometimes it gets downright loud! Kitty jr thinks they're the best toys ever and so far has brought me three and one of those muthas was 4 inches long. Well, it was really big!

I can tell fall is right around the corner by just a few leaves dropping here and there, I think to give me hope  (I hate summer!) I notice the tree outside my front window has a patch of yellow leaves, barely noticeable. It makes me happy and it makes me nostalgic. <<<sap. Carry on.

I had my first run in with cicadas on my fishing expedition this past weekend. Damn things were flying right into you at every turn. May have screamed like a little girl once.. or twice.

I like fall too, but I'd prefer a year-long summer haha. Fishing is always good in the fall though!

Hi All,
Based on the sound of the crickets in here the last couple of days, I will assume that we've all been out and about enjoying our holiday! I know I have. Lots and lots of planes...woohoo! For those that don't know the poop on the LouP loop, the scoop is that my nearly very favourite time of the year is the Labour Day weekend air show! Whoopwhoop!!

So.. I ran to the VV site to get my order in before the sale ended and...my card wouldn't work. Boo.

Angie...Just change the image to Viggo Mortensen in the movie Hidalgo eating locusts. :p Now...that's better, isn't it? :D

Goodnight Everyone

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! :) Didja miss me? I missed you! Having computer trouble...and I'm no techie...but my duplex neighbor is! He'll straighten it out for me and I'll be back in business by tonight. Those were not crickets you were hearing, it was the giant CICADAS! Even kitty jr doesn't want to eat them...he just like catching them and playing with them. Ewwwww. I also got two more moles from my little hunter over the weekend.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! :)

That is just the cutest thing ever!!! Too cute to eat

Happy Monday..I mean Tuesday Everyone!

I'm going to give my order another go and try some Hazelnut and Death By Chocolate along with my regular Double Espresso and In Vino Veritas. Has anyone tried mixing the Hazelnut and DBC? Maybe a little Creme Caramel would mix nicely too.
As soon as September arrived, I found myself thinking about those rich, warm flavours instead of the light, fruity ones. Yum...:vapor:

Have a Great Day All! :)

Hi Angiebubs, let us know what you mix and how it turns out. Have you ever tried mixing different flavours with KCM? My favs were a little Blackberry Vanilla Swirl with KCM and Bella Amaretto with KCM. Delicious!

I've heard so much about the Hazelnut that I just have to try it, I love all the other nutty flavours so far so I have high hopes for this one. :)

Ok Funny thing-I was double fisting it the other night and had Plum Crazy in one hand and Vanilla mint in the other-decided to try together

No no no, you're doing it wrong! You have to put BOTH pvs to your lips and take a draw from both at the same time. That, my dear, is how it is done.

Hehehe.....Happy Hump Day!!

Vanilla Latte and Creme Caramel sounds soo good. I'm out of both though. CC with KCM was delicious ...I think I'll go wild and order a half ounce of Caramel Kona Milkshake. I swear I'm thinking about vape flavours in a similiar way to how I think about food when the fall weather starts to creep in. :p
I have three huge, beautiful cauliflower that must be cooked this week so ...mashed with potatoes and parsnips, maybe some short ribs slow-roasted...I love fall!

Have a great day Everyone! :)

Embarrassed to admit this Kittypie-but that is exactly what I was doing LOL (it was in the car and dark so it does count against me right?)

OK. So. I talked with my dad on the phone this morning and told him I was putting my last car payment to him in the mail. I said to him, "you know that since I'm putting this last payment in the mail that my car will die tomorrow, right?".
So, I go out for lunch, and yep, you guessed it, car died. I think it's the starter.

:lol: That would make a great toy!

Oh, Kitty. That sucks. How many clicks on that car? Maybe your Dad will feel compelled to help fix it?

I'm shopping for a used car myself. No matter which make and model I set my eye on, there is always someone ready to say "oh, you don't want to buy that". And how old is too old.......eck.

Ah well....today I get to shred stuff. I am amazed at how much paper I have accumulated over the years. My problem is I am about to pitch something and then think...I might need that someday. Perhaps a blindfold is in order. :D

Have a Great Day Everyone :)

Well, my 2001 Nissan Maxima, which has 262,000 miles on it is now running like a top. It was just a bad battery connector, which they replaced. While they were at it I went ahead and had them change the oil and the air filter. The towing charge was the lion's share of the bill, of course.

And LouP, blah blah blah on those trying to discourage you about hi mileage/old cars. I REALLY gave my dad the side-eye when he told me he bought me a car with 250K miles on it. I put a new battery in it, a new alternator and a motor mount, and now the bad connector. I don't see any reason this car won't last me another 100K. The most important thing (IMO) when considering a hi mileage car is if the owner has all maintenance records for it. The previous owner of my car had kept meticulous records, which gave me ease. Oh wait...the NUMBER ONE thing is to take it to a mechanic before you buy it. If the mechanic gives the thumbs up, and the owner has maintenance records...go for it! Oh, and have you heard of organizer extraordinaire Peter Walsh? Lordy how I'd love that man to spend a few hours at my duplex!

I hope you all are having a good day! You should SEE how fast our fabulous VV team is cranking out the sale orders!

You all would not believe how much Crème Caramel I've vaped so far today. :) :vapor:

That's great news Kitty! 250,000? Wow. I think a car up here with that mileage would probably be rusting through the floorboards (snow and road salt). I've been looking at a 2002 Subaru Impreza wagon...would be great up north in the winter..all wheel drive, good on gas, etc.. Cheap...I mean affordable. :D

TIFF is on up here...Toronto International Film Festival...traffic must be managed to accommodate the celebrities. Huge, scary looking men everywhere (bodyguards). Lots of stargazing going on....for the next ten days! Agh....

I've been vaping up some Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich....YUM!:vapor:
