I'm looking for suggestions on something I can use to sample new juices and test others at different steeping times. So something easy to clean and rewick quickly are the main priorities. I'm using a kayfun lite plus on my mvp2 for my usual setup but it's a pain to empty and refill if you end up not liking a juice.

My first rba was a $7 A6 from Desert Vapes. It has post holes and thumbscrews. Diameter about the same as an ego battery. I make a 5/64 coil that makes it easier to get a twist of cotton in for wick. I can pop the cap and hose it off or just vape some plain vg until the last flavor is gone. Small size means less to get used up before the next.

You could try using your kayfun. Take of the drip tip, not the cap, toss 5-7 drops in. Give it a stern draw to make sure you didn't flood the air intake then fire away. A disclaimer: I tried this night because my kayfun was empty and I was about to do a cotton change to be proactive and thought "I wonder..." I gotta say it works well. Now if the kayfun had been full idk how that would have worked with flavors mixing in the tank perhaps. Either way If your in need before you find a dripper you like its a decent option especially for DIY liquids.

I just use an old fashioned 510 atty.. blow it out with a little pg in between flavors and try the next flavor.. works for me. no rebuilding either.

Looks like the Igo L with the wicking method from the video is just what I need. This Will be my first dripper as I went straight from clearos to my kayfun. I can just see myself getting sucked in to the dripping world so this seems like a good place to start.

yep just a cheap igo-l works great. as one stated before you can use just a regular 510 dripping atty and just run something thru it to clean after every juice but the method in the video seems much better imo. if im testing 5 juices, i get 5 little pieces of cotton ready to go first and also 5 little pieces of paper towel to quickly wipe out.

Go wick-less Clapton coil it's awesome for tasting. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TRtuorg0TQo

seems like a lot of work for that purpose and is quite an advanced build as well. with a coil like in the video, which is like .2Ω, you also need some extra airflow for the extra heat so the atty most likely would need adjustable airflow or need to be modded.

It reminds me of the maniac who was using loads of twisted wires and not even a negative post. Enough twists can act as a wick, but the more wires you twist together, the lower your resistance goes. It does make me wonder how well it might work with thinner wire. But that would be less stable and rather more of a risk that close to the deck.

I got .5 with 28/32,(5 wrap coil) it's not a tough build it's just making the wire that takes some time. with the smaller wire I didn't have to drill the posts either.
