Summary: This study was published in Addiction journal last week also showed that smokers who have intention to quit are 60% more likely to quit cigarettes if they switch to e-cigarettes than if they use over the counter nicotine patches or gums. This study is by far the largest e-cigarette study which surveyed 5863 smokers in England over five years.
