Got some contenders for you guys to advise on.

1. A nicely made Kayfun V3 PLus clone.
2. Serpent
3. Serpent Mini

Any more you'd like to add?

I know the above are used mainly by sub ohm enthusiasts but does it help if I were to build my coils to be in the 1.2-1.5 ohm range? I only want to try single coil builds for now. And preferably tanks that do not run throughout juice really quick.

For flavor filled MTL my votes are as follows:
  • SXK Squape R(s)
  • Hurricane
  • Erlkonigin (EK or Erl clone) mini or full size
  • Kayfun mini V3 Plus clone
All of these have been through my testing and have passed with flying colors. Each has some pros and cons but airflow and flavor are top notch in all of them.

The Fasttech clones for the KFV3+ and Hurricane mentioned already are superb. You can't go wrong having BOTH in your lineup. SXK Squape R(s) you can pick up at 3F.

I'm testing the Kayfun mini V3 and Pico RTA this weekend. Fully expect the KFV3 to be as good as the plus.

It's hard to find a good MTL RBA these days. So many people are looking for free draw atomizers. I picked up a couple more EHPro Kayfun 3.1's on sale for $15 a while back. That's 3 of them in my collection, along with 3 more Kayfun V4's.

I have an Orchid V4 and a Lemo Drop that have adjustable air flow, but it's a little taxing to get them adjusted for MTL. You almost have to close the airflow all the way down and it gets sensitive at the point. They perform better at more open air settings.

I'm having the opposite experience and over the last few months, having come out of the sub-ohm craze, I have been experimenting with several MTL RTAs and have found some that are in my permanent rotation now:
  • SXK Squape R(s)
  • Hurricane
  • Erlkonigin (EK or Erl clone) mini or full size
  • Kayfun mini V3 Plus clone
Tried some others that I didn't like but others rave about:

  • Rose V2(s)
  • Ubertoot
  • Goblin mini (single coil, above ohm build)
  • Bellus (same as GMini)
Still have these on my list to try:
  • Kayfun mini V3
  • Gem
  • Pico
  • Calix
Seeing a lot of options for MTL in the clearomizer market also:
  • Aspire models with MTL coils (Atlantis, Triton, Triton mini, Nauti)
  • Innokin T18 and T22
  • Ego One with MTL coils

I see a return to MTL happening in the industry as even enthusiasts tire of burning thru 30 mils of juice per day, battery requirements, etc. I think the quick success of the Kayfun mini V3 shows just that.

Yep, I've been meaning to order a Squape. I should do that soon. It's time to stock up on the deals. I have 3 KF4's, 3 KF3.1, and a few other RBA's. I need a shoebox full to ensure that I can continue to vape past whatever happens in the future.

My guess is that the FDA regs will be drastically altered through Congress. I'm hoping that HR 2058 is passed.

My thoughts also in that direction as I put a few back that will supply me in case the rebuildable option becomes not an option in the future. I doubt it but better safe than sorry.

If you don't mind clones or want to try before buy the SXK Squape R(s) clone on 3F is excellent. I have 3 and 1 authentic.

The Hurricane is in same league IMO.

At that price you could buy both :) but I think 200+ reviews with that high a score on FT is a good indicator.
