My Ry4 mixes with FA RY4 aren't that great. They aren't unvapeable, but they just aren't my cup of tea. Any other suggestions? I enjoy and RY4 that doesn't have that overwhelming "flowery/alcohol" taste. I think one of my favorites uses a toffee flavor. Any suggestions?

Note: My juice has been steeping for about a week or so.

Here are my recipes:

10% FA RY4
5% Caramel Candy Flavorwest
5% FA Vienna Cream

18% FA RY4
1% FW Caramel Candy
1% FW Vienna Cream

Doubleditto - my very first mix that got me hooked on DIY was pretty much straight TFA Double RY4. I'd consider it a bit "sweet and creamy" and I think went a lot more flavoring, it may have been 15%. MANY of my current favorite flavors still include that as a core component - I mix DRY4 with fruits, and with creams...

edit:
I hate that alcohol/perfume/chemical smell/flavor and never got it with TFA RY4.
It was good fresh, but it DOES change a bit over a week or two. You can tell even just by the color!
This is the same recipe - bottle on the right about 10 days in...

Great pic there Train. Thanks for posting

Yet another +1 for TFA RY4D. If I'm going to vape a little of it fresh, I like it at 6 percent. If I'm going to let it steep (4wks for me) I like it at 10 percent.

Even better for my buds is my doctored up recipe. Steep 4wks.

TFA RY4D 8%
TFA Caramel Candy 2%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 3%
TFA Brown Sugar X .5%
Apple Cider Vinegar 1 large drop per 5 ml

TFA RY4D is all I have been vaping since starting DIY about a month ago. Love it.

I have a few batches of various RY4D recipes aging atm, but a rather simple one was fine after just a day or 2:

TFA RY4D - 10%
TFA AP- 1%
TFA Cotton Candy -1%

It seemed a bit sweet at first, but a couple of weeks later the sweetness had mellowed.

Personally i prefer working with base ingredients. Experiment with them until you fine something workable.
Ie, highway or 555 tobacco, then start with different vanillas, and different caramels. Add, saline in 1, vinegar in another. Add ethol maltol, dont add ethol maltol.
To get you going, 12% 555, 2%, dolce de leche.

AP 1% its a bit too much and kills the main flavour. I suggest 1 drop of TPA 5% per 30ml.
