Good setup for temperature changes?

I need a better rig for work. I work in a factory and must carry my mod with me in a small tool chest. The temperature variance and vibration are causing me to waste a fair amount of juice due to flooding.

My work takes me from AC office rooms to repairing hot machines. My mod must be able to lay flat in my tool chest because there is no way to keep it upright. And needs to be sturdy enough to handle bouncing around with the tools.

I am currently using a protank 2 and a kayfun clone. I have tried Boge cartomizers and don't like them. The vapor production is barely passable and they give a chalky taste. I am sensitive to cotton wicks.

Before I waste any more money on junk I figured I would ask you folks.

you are laying it down flat in the tool box? Is your tool box big enough that if you cut out some pieces of foam rubber you could keep it upright?

Also on the kayfun have you check to make sure you ahve a good vacuum seal on it?

Protanks are leaky biotches by nature, IMO. A kayfun should be fine if properly built.

The dripper idea is a good one too.

i take my mod to work everyday in a phone holster on my belt. I work in a factory and am also in and out of the offices 20+ times a day. I've dropped it occasionally on the concrete floors, but it prefers carpet!

Unless you use steel tanks (which are annoying because you cannot tell when they need refilling) then perhaps a Reo is your best bet.

something like this? attached to your belt maybe? it would also provide a bit of insulation so temp changes didnt happen so rapidly... just a thought. Not sure about this website, i have never used it, but you can find items like this on many sites, i just used the first one that popped up on a search;

Gcase Belt Mod Holder V2

The toolbox is just a miniature version of a big chest type with drawers in it. It is kind of like a large lunchbox. There is no way to get it to set upright. I cant use any kind of holster due to it being a safety hazard. Anything that hangs off of my body can get snagged in a machine and cause me to get eaten.

The REO is an interesting idea. I forgot about those. I use an RDA at home. I could possibly use it at work. It seems like it would be a bit of a hassle. The REO seems like the best idea yet.

Reos works great with RDA's - they just need to be bottom feed modded. Rob (redeyedancer), the manufacturer, has several atties available on his site that would do.

The reigning standard is the RM2 (a modded triangle atty) - easy to build on, flavour machine. It's super for convenience and is great with single coils. If you wanted to run duals and/or are more of a lung hitter, the RM4 lets you run either single or duals with afc.

Another great atty to run on a reo is the VA Cyclone, either with or without afc (the latter being another good choice for dual coils).

You should check out the reo site...

... and you should also come visit the reo subforum to get lots of help to your questions as well as tips and tricks to dialling in the vape to perfection...

Unfortunately there are lots of great suggestions for you so far, such as a dripper, a kayfun etc. I use a Aspire Nautilus with a stainless steel tank for my work set up. Dripping is not an option for work for me and refilling the Kayfun and fooling with the little screw and juice hole is also not appealing for me. So a simple "juice and go" tank like the Nautilus fits the bill. Easy and quick to fill, good vape and with the stainless steel tank, very durable. Hope this helps.
