hey guys, new around here and am looking for a suggestion on a mech mod. im looking for something that is of decent quality, has an adjustable positive pin, and less than $60-80 max. so far i have been looking at the magneto and the ehpro electric angel clone. only problem im having making the decision is idk how well they perform. from the reviews ive seen, the ea clone drops voltage by about .2-.3v under load, and with the magneto i heard the draw is kinda tight and has threads that are kinda meh. so what do you guys think about these 2 and do you guys have any better suggestions? (adjustable pin is pretty high on my priority list since i am getting tired of having to wedge paperclips into my mvp/ego to raise the pin for my igo-w)

as much as possible hcigar or ephro cones.... nice quality budget friendly.... i would get real mccoy if only i can afford the real mods...

You guys in cali have some great vape shops. My vape shop charged 50 for a fast tech Chi You Clone. OP does it have to be local to you? zhentipede is right on that those HCigar clones seem to be pretty damn good from what I read. Here is a link HCigar Products - VapeRoyalty

I have the magneto clone from fasttech, it is okay but have found that it will fire off when tightened down. It is also long with 650 bats, I suggest the Astro clone, has a stiff spring so you don't have to lock it and set down. I also love my pisces clone as it is really small. I am looking to buy the atom clone or the innokin cool fire I. The cool fire I has built in 8.5w which is cool but depends on atty and ohm setup you want to run.

101Vape carries a good selection of mech clones at a decent price. out of stock currently of the Nemi, but saw the Chi You and the King clone there. They do go through stock quickly there but restock quickly also. They do ship fast and are a great vendor, usually get the vape gear that most vapers are looking for, so is good to have them as a favorite.

Only problem with buying Mech clones is that it makes one yearn for an Authentic High end one. lol

If you are in the Chicago-area I would suggest you go check out Vape City in Skokie or their new shop in Chicago. Or Vape Scene in Lake Villa. Both stores sell high-end mechs, as well as clomes.

This might help... Here are the mech mods I have bought, with some comments...

1. Smok Magneto, brass, no logo. Bought two of these as gifts for my son and his girlfriend to replace their old broken vape gear. Got it from vapingcraze.com (about 35 bucks on sale IIRC), and it is pretty decent. Tubes are not overly thick but strong enough for careful use. Threading was clean and even. Spring loaded connector in 510 connector was flimsy, and the spring broke on my son's mod... we bought a replacement head to repair it. Works fine since then, but I would not buy another one.

2. Hcigar Sentinel M16 clone, bought this for myself at Bucky's Bargain vaping... I think it was $36. Much more robust and precise construction than the Magneto. Materials appear superior. Threads smooth and tough as nails. Less voltage drop than Magneto. Two minor flaws: (a) threads are slightly visible in 18650 mode, and (b) button backed out frequently during use, a bit of dental floss on the threads fixed the problem (considered using loctite if dental floss didn't work, but the floss fix has worked flawlessly).

3. Hcigar King clone in stainless steel, about $50. Holy crap this thing is solid and heavy. Excellent fit, finish, materials. Flat spots on octo-rings keep mod from rolling on uneven tabletops. Button is smooth and easy to actuate, no crunching or wobbling. Every pin is adjustable. Flaws? None really, except it is a little heavy.

4. Fasttech Launcher V2 clone. This thing was less than $20 and it is made as well as the Hcigar clones I have. Fit, finish, materials, and design are all excellent. Solid copper pins, fully adjustable. Fully equal in performance to the King clone at a fraction of the price. No flaws that I can think of. Amazing value, and it is my favorite mech mod right now. Highly recommended.

My vote is for the Hcigar nemesis clone. Works good. Change out the springs in the switch for magnets and it makes it even better. And all the different kicks fit in it. I have a magneto and some kicks don't fit.

can i kick a 18650? i did a quick search a few hours ago and some people were having problems with some stuff not making contact?

edit: problem nemesis specific in case it wasn't clear
