HELP! All the syringes I buy always seem to lose their numbers after a few uses. Does anyone know of syringes where the marking don't rub off? Thanks in advance!

Sweetie they are all like that, just do what I do and put some clear packing tape over the numbers.

Yup, Scotch Tape (cellotape for all y'all "over there") will do ya. A simple strip covering the screenprinting will do.

Another for the DIYers... for labels on LDPE bottles, a layer of tape, then the label, then tape again.
Stays clean, but peels off easily... unlike the label alone.

I have roll of contact paper from the dollar store that I write on with a sharpie. It comes off easily too!

I've wondered about this because I've seen people complain about this more than once. How thoroughly are you guys cleaning them? I only dip the needle into the liquid (I don't go up to the plastic where the numbers actually are) so I just rinse the needle with water, pull some water up into the syringe a few times and call it clean. I've been using the same syringes for about 3 months now and some of the markings are just now sort of coming off, but at this rate I would think I'd get another 3 months out of them. I'm just wondering if other people clean them more thoroughly and that's why the markings come off, or if I got a "good batch" or what. BTW my use is without any tape, nail polish or anything.

I'm thinking it's the PG or VG that eats the numbers off. I have to remove the needle from my strong just to be able to suck it up because it's so thick. It seems like I always end up getting a drip or two on the numbered area. But as far as cleaning I pull the plunger out and just push clean water through it. Rinse it really good.

Anything that says "easy glide". I don't really recommend any from Nude Nicotine, Wizard Labs, or any of those sites really. They're generally just BD syringes that aren't easy glide.

I use these Amazon.com: Science Purchase Disposable, Sterile without Needle, 100 Count: Health & Personal Care

And these Amazon.com: Easy Glide 1cc Luer Slip TB Syringe 100/BX (No Needle): Health & Personal Care

They're so damn cheap that there's no reason NOT to buy the 100 pack, and the ones I'm using haven't had the numbers rub off yet.

I do the same , numbers still perfectly readable but recently put tape over it to prevent fading .

I beleive that some glass syringes use a printers type paint (similar to silk screen paint/ink) which may be baked on. These glass syringes are pricey. Plastic syringes are generally made to be disposable, hence one time use graphics.
If you immerse a taped over plastic syringe in a soapy solution, over time ,the tape tends to peel and dislodge. Hot weather is brutal to most tape adhesives if not specially formulated to resist heat. Tape will work for a few cleanups but will degrade faster over time than a clear coating.
Most non water soluble clear coating such as:
Clear nail polish, varnish, urethane coatings etc.. (coatings which require some type of paint thinner to clean up) should effectively shed soapy water for the life of the syringe. Hobby shops use to sell Testors Paints in small bottles. Walmart might also supply hobby (clear coatings) paints.
