i got physical ones once.. it taught me not to upset folks on my side of the pond... he he
i get great comfort from knowing all that water lies between me and most net users i might upset..
when they all came back from the pub and ask for my addy so as they could pay me a visit in their four x four trucks... i knew it was time for me to beat a hasty retreat.. he he..
but forums are like real life... there is likely to be the odd psytho lurking about no matter how nicely we see each other..
knowing they dont live just down the road helps..

Well I'm a bit of a psycho on a bad day Trog but sneaking around and stalking people is well below my standards, especially as a brand fan. At least when we go at each other we are open about it which makes it fair.
Please just take a little time out if you need to Pete and come back when you're ready. I know that violence doesn't have to be physical to have an impact, especially if you're feeling a bit vulnerable anyway. I hope the problem gets resolved soon.

awe Pete c'mon fella, The personal emailing thing is all wrong but the forum is a fun place to come and have a look see now and again. Just use it for what you want to use it for. I get a little too involved in some forums but over time my activity subsides and i may only visit a few times a week but I never completley jump ship.

Pete, no matter what you post, if your experience is a true one then it's valuable to all of us. My Dura experience was good; yours was not. I need yours to balance what would otherwise be a singular Happy Bunny view. See?

Vitriolic diatribes (anonymous, of course) can be expected by anyone writing criticisms and reviews. It's not always applause a critic hears ...

as an Ex-Janty buyer i can say this for them suppliy and demand made them what they are. ( I also had Dura batch 1 troubles but all it is a a twist on a 901 in my opition)

I once asked You and Kate a question about a Janty Model I was thinking of buying and you both responded with measured, unbiased answers.
You gave me the Pro's and the Con's of the model and let me make my own mind up based on the experiences you both personally had.
Neither of you were Pro or Anti.
On that advice i decided to wait for a while and see how things turned out with the New Year's models.
You saved me well over a £100 and i now know that is not the model for me.
You know i have your email addy as i bought my first USB Passthrough and a Battery box from you which i can honestly say was a bargain and is the ONLY one i have that is still working as well as it was when i first got it.
All i have to say about the Janty issue you have had, is that if it had been me i would have done exactly as you have done except my language would have been slightly stronger and i would have demanded a full Rebate. These things are expensive and think that the Customer Service for the UK is not good at all.
Anyway, whatever you do you only have my best wishes.

Again thanks for all the support folks. I'll stick around and see how things pan out. I've had no more emails and will be taking other action today to try to find the culprit. At least me emails were ignorant insults not death threats!!
I'm certain the culprit is not associated with Janty, why would one disgruntled customer make any difference to their sales? Equally I don't think any regulars here were involved.
If I find out anything else, I'll let you know.
