Just a quick note to say goodbye and farewell. The forums has been great but recent changes make me feel I don't belong here any more. I'm fed up with the fights, squabbles and at times total ignorance here.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great forum most of the time, but it's me that is at fault, Perhaps I'm too old and past it but buzz of the forum is not what it was. I'm also pretty annoyed with offensive e-mails sent anonymously, but obviously from some forum members that disagree with me. That's plain cowardice and I'm fed up with it. How my email address was obtained, I do not know.

If you read this, do consider joining the Totally Wicked forum! It's not as 'busy' as this place, but it's nice and mainly flame-free (there was one dafty winding folk up, but the TW guys put him in his place quick enough!)

Just a general internet survival tip..why would anyone care what an anonymous email contained? This is the net, a thick skin is a prerequisite.

Youe need to stick around. We all NEED each other here to keep ouselves going. I agree with Aldo, to leave would be exactly what they want. Keep the rest of us happy and just ANNOY the sh-t out of whoever this is. To me that's some of the best punishment they could get, short of banning them from this site.

How, exactly, does someone send an anonymous email anyway? I'm sure SJ could track the source if it was sent via PM on this site. If it was outside the site, then just do a block through your email provider. Stick around man! Once we figure out who it is, we can all flame them out of existance. Disciplinary smack is fun to run when someone deserves it!

That's true but someone going to the trouble of obtaining your personal email address and then using an anonymous email service to insult you, all because you didn't like the Janty Dura, is a bit weird. It moves things beyond your average flaming and into the realms of stalking.
