So, yeah, after a more than earnest try on the fishstix (1.4Ω Phoenix, 1.7Ω 1Ω & 0.7Ω AGA-t), I have to say I like 500 ss better. This has no relevance re: fc2000. But the fish wands just couldn't keep up, got worse with time. Also, with time, I started to detect a flavor and the performance decreased. In order to celebrate my reunion with steel, I built my best 2 wiki-coils to date. All the experience I gained with the fragile stone went into them. This one is 7" of 500 rolled into a 5/32" wick with my flattened 26g Kanthal @ 0.8Ω. It's a heat sink; but, after a few puffs . . . . .it hurts
