I just bought a VHO Helios, I'm not going to do anything more than dual coil yet I just wanted the bigger deck to build coils on. Any tips or tricks?

I'm really looking forward to this thing, it looks like a monster.

I'll be using it on a VHO Titan and a Silver Bullet.

Here's something me and a few others had to figure out for themselves:

When you build, make sure your coils are a bit raised, about inline or a bit higher with the holes where you insert your wire. The airholes on the Helios are quite high, and if you build your coils too low (flush with the deck) the air will pass right over the wick and give you a harsh vape. It's a fantastic RDA if setup properly, but it's definitely harder to perfect than other drippers.

I've found my perfect setup is 3 strands of 2.5mm silica, 4 wraps of 32 kanthal per coil (gives me about 1 ohm total), and one airhole completely open. It made me lower my nic level, and I think I still have to lower it some more...

Thanks for the advice. 2-3 strands of wick and 4 wraps of 32 gauge has been what I've been building in the RDA I already have. I'm really looking forward to this thing. :)

I wanted to journey into real mech mods since the SB isn't really a mech mod. I figured, hey, why not blow a ton of money and do it right? haha :vapor:

Yeah that whole saving money thing... I did it for a couple weeks and then I realized how cool mods are and how many different juice flavors there are.
Goodbye money is a frequent term while vaping... in the beginning with an ego and dct, it was hello money but the more I got into the forums, the more I said goodbye... lol cool but expensive hobby

I got mine from Nashville Vapor I ordered it with a Titan as well. Over $300 order (ouch) well worth it though, grabbed a couple juices as well. My order shipped the next day AND they gave me free 2 day shipping. There was a mix up with my order and they called me and we got it squared away in a couple minutes, great customer service. Will definitely order from them in the future.

Their website is pretty messed up, it's kind of broken and awkward but so far their customer service is great so far so good. :)
