What kind of experience are you going for? What ohms do you usually build your RDA's to? What are your other devices/what do you like or not like about them?

The E-LVT and the sigelei 100W are two entirely different beasts. The E-LVT (while durable and stuff) can fire, at lowest, a 1 ohm coil. The Sigelei 100W on the other hand can fire as low as .15 ohms (perhaps lower?)

It's like walking into a car dealership and saying, "I either want the budget-class Prius, or the fully-loaded Porsche."

i still sorta new to ohms and all that, this is the first time i can afford something thats not 20-30 dollars

Well why didn't ya say so? Lol.

Here's a short guide on battery safety/ohm's law.

Considering this is your first delve outside of the standard ego/etc., you should look for devices with protection on them. The E-LVT is certainly one of them, and so is the Sigelei 100W (although I wouldn't push the limits of Chinese circuitry).

Since this will be your first time building coils (I assume) you'll want to do lots of research on YouTube. There are TONS of coil building videos out there. I'd suggest starting off with single microcoils and aiming for around 1 ohm. Once you get that down, and you can consistently build nicely-firing coils, you can begin ramping it up (or down, in terms of ohms). Throwing a second 1 ohm coil (turning your single coil setup into a dual coil one) will halve your ohms, bringing you to .5 ohms. In my opinion, this is a great spot both for amperage (leaves headroom on most 20A batteries), as well as vapor/flavor production. It's the perfect sub-ohm level where it's not ridiculously hot (although with a VW mod you can adjust the wattage to change the heat/vapor production) yet it still gives off a satisfying amount of vapor. You can use Steam-Engine to calculate coil resistances and stuff like that, it's a very helpful calculator that most vapers swear by.

I'm sure other folks will chime in, as this is a rather broad thread, but you'll find what you need here on ECF. I guarantee it.

Remember whatever device you get, if it doesn't have a built in battery, you will need to buy good quality batteries and a battery charger. This will likely add around $30-40 to your purchase price. Also, if you buy something like a Kanger Sub Tank or a Atlantis (or most other clearomizer type toppers) you will need to purchase the coil heads (as you said you've never rebuilt before) These heads are around $15 for a pack of 5.

Personally I don't like recommending any devices without a lot more information. A $15 ego twist with a $20 nautilus mini can work just as good as a $300 Vapor flask with a $200 Kayfun V4 on it depending on what you expect from your vaping experience.

What are you looking for? What have you used before and what did you think of it? Are you vaping to stop smoking or for something else? What type of liquids do you prefer (high VG or not?) and how much tinkering with your equipment are you comfortable with.

Do you prefer wood, metal, tube or box? Is battery life important to you? I could ask another 100 questions here about your preferences. There are just so many options out there.

Finally, I would recommend having a look around the Variable Voltage APV Discussion section of the forum. It might give you some ideas as to what is out there and some of the pros and cons about those devices.
