Got a few questions..

First off, this is my first post here, so Hi!

Now to the meat, I picked up this setup from a local vape shop, and so far have been happy with it. Been vaping for about three days now..

Couple questions.

1) How is this for a second set up? I like the bottom coil better than the ones that use capillary action. I had the same battery, just with the capillary fed top and didn't like it..

It's a 1000mah battery with a eleaf BCC on top.

2) After three days, I am starting to get a burnt taste from this clearmoizer (right?) is this normal?

3) This is a clearomizer, right?

4) Any suggested upgrades?

Thanks guys! Here's a picture of the set up.

If you like it, it's a good set up.
After 3 days, the coils could need cleaning or replacing. It all depends on the type of juice and how much you're vaping. If the juice is darker, sweeter, thicker, it doesn't take long for the coils to get gunked up. There's tons of videos on how to dry burn, clean and rebuilding the coils. Here's one: Dry Burning Coils & Cleaning Tanks - YouTube
It is a clearomizer.
I suggest getting back ups of everything including a charger.

It would'nt be uncommon for the coil to be dirty after 3 days. Try a new one and see if that fixes it up, if it does you know you just need to clean or rebuild that coil, unless you're happy just replacing them every few days, whatever works for you. I think it's safe to call it a clearomizer, though some may think of it as a bottom coil tank, terms are a little muddled these days.

If that setup works for you no need to upgrade, if you want though you could try out different ohm heads or maybe get a variable voltage battery. I'm assuming that's not one, could be wrong. You can get the heads online relatively cheaply. iSmoka/eleaf BCC Replacement Coil Heads (5 pack) It's a good idea to have a few, that way you're always ready to go whether you're cleaning/rebuilding the old ones, or just tossing them when they're not performing well anymore.

Local shop has them at $10 for a box of five. Just didn't think to buy any when I bought the setup.. :(

So, if I go to a lower ohm (I am at 2.2 now) will the draw be lighter? Will I lose vapor?

Lower ohm will provide a warmer vapor. Higher ohm will provide a cooler vapor. It's all in personal preference.

The coil heads/wicks in clearomizers are disposable parts. They wear out and need replaced. Typically they cost around $3 each. Considering that they last a week or more, that's cheaper than spending at least $6 a day on cigarettes.
