Oh yeah, I had wire cutters, a mini screwdriver (that is in the pic), and tweezers. I clipped the wire directly into the rubbish bin, so no worries there.

Do nail clippers clip closer? It seems like they might, with their curved edge. I had trouble getting close enough to the rba with the wire clippers designed for jewelry.

I use fingernail clippers too. I think they cut closer than side cutters

Nail Clippers will work.

If you want to get some wire cutters that cut Closer to the rba, check out ones that are called "Flush Cut".

Something like these...

http://www.amazon.com/Hakko-CHP-170-Stand-off-Construction-21-Degree/dp/B00FZPDG1K/ref=pd_sim_147_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=088Q1J401M56ZA38CKM0&dpID=414t7uLh8KL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_

I have the flush cutters that came in the Coil Master tool kit. I still use the fingernail clippers yes I have the scisors, the ohm meter, coil master coil jig. The whole nine yards.

I have a GMini clone and acrylic top coming from fasttech. That MAY BE EXACTLY what I want in an RTA.

Congrats on building your first coil!

The Subtank RBA deck is pretty easy to build on. I don't have a coiler like you do but even so, it's easy to wrap a coil on a 3 mm screwdriver shaft. I had no idea that Vape Wild carried kanthal, might have to check out their site again soon. Love the labels on the spools! [emoji23] Just to let you know, I usually run a .8 or .9 coil at around 23.5 watts, seems to be a good vape.

I also like .8-1 ohm coils on my GMini and Kayfun Nano and vape at 15-17.5 watts. I took my GMini up to 32 watts vaping 70℅ VG 30% PG and the little goblin fed the wick like a freight train. The vape was too warm for me but worked well.
