Started getting my selection of HV supplies yesterday.

I have some Tenergy Lifepo4 and AW Lifepo4 3v .... waiting on HV attys.

In the mean time I snagged the last two of the new larger 5v stack batts from electronicstix :)

They are indeed the same size as an 18650 (old ones were 14mm dia I think)

Let me say .... WOA ... these little suckers really wake things up :)

I have one Woodvil with the 5v stack and a 2.3Ω SR Joye atty .... its freaking amazing.

Second woodvil has the 5v batt and a 2Ω Boge carto on top .... holy hot yummy vapor.
(EDIT: OK thats too hot to be enjoyable for long ....)

Cant wait to get my IKV order today and try the 6v batts with the 3.5Ω attys.
It seems like a big jump if I'm loving a 2.3 at 5v .... but mwa assures me its awesome :)

These 5 volt batts are a little weird ..... can anyone else who owns them meter some for me.

Here is the deal .... following the directions of leaving in the charger 4-5 hours after green light the first one checked 5.52v

For kicks I checked the second one after about a 2 hour charge (light was still red) it meters 5.71 .... WTF ??

Gave up on the LR carto at 5v :)

But the SR Joye atty on this battery is dam fine .... (less than 5 bucks an atty too)
I hope they last a while.

Alice said she had used this one Amazon.com: BC1HU 110-240V Universal Fast Smart Charger for AA/AAA/C/D/9V Rechargeable Batteries: Electronics, but I am not knowledgeable enough to tell you whether it will work or do so safely

For the 5v battery from Electronicstix it works great. I have the skinny batteries and it takes them to the right voltage. I think there might be a newer model, by Tenergy, that also has a USB charging port and individual LED indicators of battery status in each, individual bay, except for the 9v charge bays that are not metered but timed.

I highly recommend staying away from Tenergy batteries unless you want to be mending the "plastic" wrap on them. We have been using them for years as DH is a flashlight "head". Every type we have ever used tends to have splitting of the covering; on newer ones at the bottom and top edges.

I've been going back and forth with the 6v (2 LiFePo4) batts and 3.5Ω IKV attys.

I'm warming up to it :) I don't think I would keep the set-up full time if I only had 1 REO.
But I might keep 1 REO at 6v full time.

Its a great kick in the pants first thing in the morning. The first cig of the day 5 minutes after waking up was always my favorite.
And Boba's at 6v right after I wake up is nice.

I'm getting the hang of it, I can still do my long long drags. I was worried I would burn attys but they are holding up.
I prefer the 510 over the 306 in the IKV HV lineup.

Time will tell.

Try the 3.0 Boges. Might make a big difference or the Dual coils at 5v.

let us know Big. I want to get some of these 5v batts but they are out of chargers for them at the moment.

Will do, I am expecting it to be very good.
Right now I am digging the 6v with the IKV 3.5 ohm 510 attys.
Once I realized I could still take long huge hits with them and the attys broke in I started to realize why some people love that set-up.
