I have been a dripper-only for the duration of my vaping career. This is the first tank I have invested in....I want to make sure I don't screw it up ;-) it's actually a My Freedom Smokes version, if that matters (and it's purple, which doesn't matter at all but it's pretty!!)

i am using 10/90 juice (about that anyway, it's DIY juice and I use a 100% VG base)

is there anything special anyone wished they knew when they got theirs?

If its anything like its bigger brother keep it topped up dont forget to tilt every once in a while and don't throw old heads away re wick with cotton once it starts tasting bad simple to do and doubles or triples run time of each head bought loads of heads that I didnt need to for my nova just because I didnt consider the option of rewicking

Good tip! Thanks! I as wondering if I could re-wick it. Never done anything like that before- I will have to do some research!

Make sure you twirl it around & let the wicks get fully saturated before you start vaping!! If not you will burn the wicks! Twirl & twirl & twirl some more in between vapes...especially if you're a chain vaper! Happy vaping!

I thought i had read somewhere that part was important, thanks for confirming it :) I just have to figure out how to "twirl" without ending up getting juice in the top and eventually spitting it in my mouth a bit! Lol

I never really experienced getting juice into my mouth. I would get some under my drip tip though so I just started to check it like once a day just to be safe. All you really need to do is just tilt it to the side & you should be fine! If it starts to gurgle then make sure that juice hasn't gotten down the center by just taking it off your batt & blowing through it with a papertowel at the bottom just in case. Hope this helps! I'm about to start playing around with dripping! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

10/90 may cause wicking issues whether you twirl or not. If you get dry hits try cutting small v notches on the bottom of the silicon cap on each side just above the wick. Short hard puffs without firing the coil can also help draw juice into the coil.

If you do have wicking problems and these tips do not help you may need to thin your juice with either distilled water or PEG.

I enjoyed dripping very much, and still plan to some, but getting to walk around without keeping track of both juice AND pv is nice too! Good luck!

Thanks for the tips on notching it- I may do that just in case. My juice seems to be thinner than most people have described, but I could be wrong.

ETA: got my first great big nasty dry hit today (Blech!!!) so I went ahead and notched the cap- so far so good

I have the original Vision brand Mini Vivi Nova and I have never had a problem of juice being anywhere is wasn't supposed to be. I normally just lay it on it's side when not in use, and the wicks are always ready to go when I am. I have even accidentally put it in my pocket upside down a few times and still nothing leaked or got anywhere it shouldn't. The key is making sure the upper plastic grommets are in the proper position (making contact with the lid), and that there are no gaps between the wicks and the grommet.

I am going to assume that what I have is not going to be the 100% best- its a company branded, not an original so I knew what I was getting myself in to- juice does travel in to the top piece some, it doesn't sit as snug as it could against the rubber piece. I am not too concerned about it though- I realized the "spitting" was bc I used to drawing harder than I need to, so the little bit of traveling juice was ending up in my mouth. I have cell phone mod, so the chances of it ever actually making its way upside down are slim to none lol.
