Bristow, Ok.
I am loving it with my 801 adapter but my new 901 atomizer that came with it was great for about 5 puffs and died. I thought it was strange that it died so fast. I really like it with the 801 so I will probably stick with that. Do you think it was just a bad atty or what?

Do I need to do anything to keep it shining like it is now?

SO cool you got your GG stormy!!

901 attys are finicky little things. Some good - some not so good.

I have some that went *poof* from the get go, no matter what e-cig I used, and I have some that last a very long time.

>>Do I need to do anything to keep it shining like it is now?

uh... don't lick the button hahaha!

It will get more shiny without doing anything sweety!!!

Your hands will do the job! If you want to clean it, take a wet paper and scrub it.

If you want of course to make it like a glass!!!, there is a way but its a truck's trick. Maybe its a secret, so I cant say it in public. If Truck wants, he will tell you, but I am afraid he will not:D

Stormy, the same thing happened to the atty I got with my GG:( And since yesterday I've killed 4 other 901 atties

I just daren't risk anymore so think I'll have to lay the GG to rest until Tim gets some more adapters in & when i can afford to buy one & a whole load new atties & carts to go with them.

Yes Bionic, I'm using the Grant & I do think it is the high voltage that is killing them. I also know that some of my atties are RN4075 & are therefore not suitable at all as they heat up far more than the DSE901's. however, I'm fairly certain the atty Tim sent with the GG is a true DSE901 & that one only lasted a few puffs.

That is a bummer. I just love it but I am afraid to buy any more 901's. It is so much prettier without the adapter. At least it works great. I had to use the sandpaper already. I am glad I had some already. I don't know why others can use the 901's and we can't. It doesn't make sense. I might try buying some Chinese attys. At lest I won't be out a lot of money if they fry.

Same here. I have used the cheap 901's with a 6v mod and never had one die that fast. I wanted my new atty to at least last long enough to give it a really good try. I am really afraid to buy the new one that is just coming out unless you can get a 801.

do you think it could be the length of time you are holding the button?

hopefully when the nano turns up i wont have this problem, i did buy a pack of 5 extra atomisers from TW this morning just in case, and some chocolate liquid to go with them

I haven't had any issues with the Nano and 901 attys...well, I've flooded mine, but that's because I keep trying to put too much juice in ;)

Goodmorning Chrissie & Stormy, I don't understand it either.
Today I'll do a little vid of an RN-4075 compared to a 901 and they're difference when hooked up to 6 volts. Do you guys remember what I said about the 4075's and certain tricks? Take off your carts press the button, whats the atom doing inside?

I get 901's from Wayne at Stainless atomizer for DSE901 mini e-cigarette - Spare Parts - Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop They work very well and they're only $6.00/each. I honestly haven't burned out any atoms by vaping yet.

Lol, aren't timezones Wonderful?
I have another notion(another stab lol) how are you putting the batteries in? Even though they seem like they should go in positive side down, they are supposed to be negative side down, like this.

If backwards they will burn out that atom so fast.
