Wow! Thanks for all the good info. It looks like it should work then. It would probably give the manual mini pipe a better look since the Janty adapter looks just like a 801 atty.

I have just one more question about the manual mini pipe before I pull the trigger on one. How is the switch? Does it reliably fire with each press of the button or are there dead presses, similar to the early runs of the 510 batteries? Thanks!!

I have had no problems with misfires. My problem is remembering to push the button!
I found a guy in the Janty forum who used the Janty 901 adapter with his mini pipe and likes it!
The way I figure it every device has it's place, for me the mini pipe is a relaxing vape..good for watching movies and sitting outside! It would be a good vape on a long drive.

Have a great Halloween!

yup, I agree, I have had no misfires, so far -- touch wood,

but as Mary said, I have to remember to push the booton -----

I like my mini pipe for curling up in a big comfy chair and watch a movie,
just completly relaxed and just vape away for a couple a hours ----

The adapter I use for my 901 is from vaprlife but you can get the same one at litecig. It's the 801 t0 901 adapter. It can also be used for a cartomizer, Eastmall has blank cartomizers in stock so you can add your favorite juice.

The trick to filling a cartomizer is centrifical force. Put about 20 drops in your carto, make sure the little plug in in the bottom and put the rubber cap and white cap back on, I also put the rubber end caps on too. The put the carton in something like the finger of a glove or whatever will keep the atty end of the carto facing out and spin like crazy. about 10 or 20 spins will do it. You can do the whole dance again and add 5 or 10 drops more. This will make the carto act like a brand new cart from the factory.

But if you use your mini pipe with a 801 to 901 adapter with a cartomizer, it will be very short (the stem part) so add an extender like you use to make a manual battery fit in a wall charger. ( they cost about 2.00 or so. Eastmall sells them. That will male the stem nice and long again.

The atty that came with your pipe is a pipe atty..correct? It's a 801 with the silver band? I find it odd that you are getting such a light draw. Mine have all been a bit stiff until they break in. I am wondering if your atty is screwing down right. I got several when I ordered my pipe.
But I do have to say that I prefer a 901 with everything..lol!

Thank Taryn for the idea, she posted it on another supplier forum. It works like a charm!
The centrifical force pushes the liquid down into the fiber near the atty end and makes room for tons of liquid. The new blank cartos should hold a lot and last fo hours! being able to vape your favorite flavor is the bonus.
Noe get us some lables to stick on the caartos so we can tell what's in the blasted things! :)
