Those might be the wrong ones. Note the description under the "CR123A Features". No mention of PCB in the battery.
Compare with this description:
Tenergy RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery

Or this one from All-battery.com
Rechargeable Batteries & Battery Chargers - 4 RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Protected Batteries with a Smart Charger

While it may be the exact same battery and maybe they just screwed up the description, I sort of remember Tenergy makes both, protected and unprotected. You might want to call battery junction and tenergy (all-battery.com) to verify.

I called Batteryjunction and they said they are protected. I really hate all the different crap with the batteries out there. Makes something that should be very simple overly complicated. I ordered the ones I did from a recommendation on another thread. I had to look everywhere to find someone that posted a link to the right ones to use. I saw the LifepO ones as well somewhere also. I almost ordered them but didn't because the wanted to charge me $12 for shipping. The Omega works very well with the 3.7v battery, and I may ultimately use it that way.

On a side note, the only complaint I have with the chrome is that my hands tend to sweat and make it slippery to hold on to. However thats not the Omega's problem lol, it's my darn sweaty hands :D I may have to get another one in silver vein at some point lol.

I'm thinking about buying some plasti-dip to try and coat the bottom part of the Omega. It looks like it will work like a charm. I'll let you know. Best part is, if I don't like the result, it can be easily removed :D.

That sounds interesting. I don't have a problem with sweaty hands and grip, but it does tend to get a lot of fingerprints.
