my provari arrived today!!! i got a DCT tank with it (the 3.5mL one that provape sells for $10.99).

i started filling the cartomizer in it and it started to drip from a hole from the bottom. is this normal? then i started to fill the rest of the tank.

this DCT comes with a 3ohm coil according to the provari. i have it running at 4.2V right now. according to a chart that i have i should be getting 5.88W. i tried lower voltage and i settled on 4.2 but there still is not much flavour from jugheads nana nutty bread. i got this juice last week so do i need to let it steep longer?

sorry if im rambling but im too excited. (i also got a new flashlight in the mail today so it feels like christmas).

Congrats on your Provari :) I don't know nothing about the DCT.. sorry, But I wanted to ask you a question, how long did it take to get your provari? I assume you ordered from the provape site? mine was shipped on the 21st so I 'm just patiently curious.. hehehe

Enjoy your vape...
ha, and perhaps start a new tread with title "need help/info for DCT"

Cheers

Congrats on your Provari. I love mine! When a carto is to full it will drip from the battery connection, totally normal. It is just getting rid of the liquid it can't hold. Some of my Jugheads juices needed more than a week to steep. You can try soaking the bottle in hot water to speed that up a bit, I put mine in a ziplock first so the label doesn't get wrecked. Also, don't get too hung up on what the charts say to vape at. I can't vape some juices as high as what the charts say, despite the ohm reading, or I lose the taste. I don't know why that is the case with certain juices but some seem to do better with 4 volts.

Depending on the style of carto it may help to check out PBusadro's site taste your juice, under tutorials it has one for filling Boge 510 carto's that may help, depending on the style of Carto you have. I tried to link it but for some reason it didn't work, and I have no idea how to put a video into a post.

I have had problems with several DCT tanks, Pyrex Tanks with good Smok Cartos work better. Vivi Novas I have had a lot of good luck with but Putting a vivi or low end tank on a Provari is like putting the transmission from an Ford Escort on a Rolls Royce.
If you want the best vaping get a Genesis style atomizer like the Z Atty Pro or DID Clone. They are expensive but it will make your vaping complete and you won't need anything further to be satisfied.
You will probably hear that genesis atomizers are not for newbes... well they are NOT that hard to wick and coil, if you can put a Sauder Desk together then you are smart enough and dexterous enough to do the job.

Thanks for the shipping info.... that was fast (yours) hope mine is nearby hehehe

Ouch... I've heard some about the ZAP, but it's a bit too expensive for me at this time (not that I can't afford it, that's not the problem) I just thought I would start with an AGA-T+ first to get the hang of the genesis style... then when I'm good and ready, i'll spring for the ZAP. It's a big learning curve.

From what I understand, they go out of stock pretty fast from the Provape site... but they do get replenishment regularly. (actually, I just checked and they are out of stock..)

I guess it's up to you, and how bad do you want it ;) hehehe

ps, I got my AGA-T+ going after a few days of tinkering and watching tons of vids... now it vapes like a choochoo train. :vapor:

Enjoy.

any of you ever dealt with Vapour Solutions? are they legit?
im thinking about getting the z-atty-pro from them

edit: also, does the z-atty-pro come with a drip tip or do i need to purchase one separately? if i do, what vendor has some really cool drip tips that will fit? are the Cherry Vapes drip tips compatible?

Also, get your wallet ready - lots of stuff to slap on:
(old bookmarks from my 'to get' list)

transform pack

(lower end) tips

I also thought about whether to get the zap locally or from provape. Considering that you might as well order spare tanks and parts, I think it was cheaper to get it from provape. (I already broke one tank)

+1
AGA T+ has come a long way and most of the kinks have been ironed out. Might be too much of leap to go straight into the zap but one could always sell it with minimal loss. For me, it was actually more 'noob' friendly because of the insulator (but took mine out a long time ago) and the narrower gap between the wick and top post (vs the aga-t's).

Until you get into mech mods :)

there is lots of problem with z-atty pro, and they will not improve it until people stop buying it. if I were you, I will just give aga-t a try, it's only $22 compares to $150.

Or $12 if you get it in a co-op :)

All devices have their share of 'problems'. My provari's chip wiggles a little bit. As for the zap, zen did improve it a bit over time(tighter top cap, etc). The only problems I'm aware of are finish (earlier ones) and the delrin piece being loose.

What kind of problems are you having with yours?

I placed an order with them a couple of weeks ago.Placed my order on a Saturday night and had my package the next Friday with no issues. Not too bad going from BC to MB. The COD option was kinda nice as well.Pricey shipping though. Also, the cherry vape drip tips will fit on any 510 og 901 atty or carto

Great. Helps the tax situation a bit, don't it?

Find out from the Canadian Vendors if the price of the ZAP includes HST, otherwise you might be better off getting it directly from Provape.

Actually it's the other way around. The ZAP is already all set up ... coiled and meshed, comes with pre-made wicks, 25 ft. of Kanthal wire, etc.

i ended up ordering from vapoursolutions because they had stock. provape keeps pushing back their next available stock date.
