Hi folks;

Newbie vaper here and first time posting in the Canada forum. A friend of mine got me a SmartSmoke e-cig before the holidays and I was just using it sporadically. Been to two GTA vaper get-togethers and learned about nic juice the eGo, which I ordered on January 1. Had to be shipped from China, so it took bleedin' forever to get here with Chinese new year and all I guess. Finally got the kit yesterday and it's going great. I was smoking around a pack a day (used to be 2+packs before I stopped smoking indoors). Today I only smoked 5 analogs, which for me is amazing. I figured I'd be tapering off analogs very slowly and gradually, so this is a great start. Looks like I'll be getting off the analogs sooner than I thought.

Anyway, just wanted to share the good news. Look forward to getting to know you folks better.

Good choice with the eGo too. Though just so you know for future reference...you don't have to order your stuff from China & wait for weeks. We have some great suppliers right here in the GTA!

Jack at Happy Vaper (whom you're probably already aware of, since you went to a couple of the meets) - he is second to none in awesome goodness. Excellent selection...genuine hardware (legitimate Joye batteries etc, not knockoffs)...crazy flavour selection for DIY...and more. Shipping is so speedy, you'll hardly believe it when you see it. When I order from Jack on a Monday, it's here by Wednesday. He is the sweetest, and he'll always see to it that you're a happy vaper!

The only thing Jack doesn't carry is nic. There are some wonderful suppliers across Canada to meet your needs in this regard. Since you're here in Toronto, I suggest Evapers. They have flavourless PG or VG with nic if you want to DIY; they also have premixed e-juices. Speedy shipping, just like Jack. Product that's consistent and of great quality. Friendly service every time.

Some other Canadian suppliers include:

- Electro Vapors (in Alberta - really nice folks with some unique hardware & juices, you'll definitely want to check them out)

- Nic Fit Nation (in BC - a bit pricey, but well-known. They tend to create tobacco and/or menthol flavour-mixes in many of their juices)

- Epuff (in Quebec - they have a lot of good reviews)

- Electronic Cigz (in Guelph, ONT - no longer has e-juice w/nic, but has some fairly advanced hardware - mods & such - that other Canadian suppliers don't have)

Thanks everyone...and thanks Rachel for the list of suppliers. A couple of them I hadn't heard of. Actually, I did order the Joye eGo (on special) from a Canadian supplier. However, it had to ship from China. That's what I get for trying to save a few bucks. I've met Jack and spoken quite a bit with Rob from Happy Vapers at the GTA meets. Yes, they're great guys and I'll be sure to get stuff from them (got a drip-tip from Jack at the last meet).

Started off using direct dripping but found it a bit messy so I'm using the cartridges. Tried the Pyramid teabag mod and it's working well. Only one analog so far today (strongly ingrained habit with my morning coffee). Being smoke-free is just around the corner....yes!

awesome news. these things really are a miracle to me too. I thought I'd taper off too but I just lost the cravings.. this just tastes so much better and I can do it in the house... haha even vaped in bed before sleeping... only problem now is I realized today going for a drive that my van needs to be cleaned again. man it stinks

Heh, I've been vaping in bed before sleeping too. Hadn't smoked in my bedroom for years with all my clothes in there. A couple of times I've dozed off to sleep while vaping and woke up in the middle of the night seeing my bedside light still on. Can't do that with analogs...LOL! It'll be great not having to worry about stinking and coughing up a storm anymore.

Folks, just wanted to revive this thread and happily report that I finally finished off my pack of analogs yesterday and have just completed my first day smoke-free, and I got through it just fine! Unfortunately, one of my two attys appears to have died...might have flooded it too much or done too many unintentional dry burns. Tried some of the methods of cleaning mentioned on this forum and YouTube (blowing thru the atty, hot water etc.) but just can't get it to fire up. I know I might be in dangerous waters so I'm meeting Jack from HappyVaper on Friday to get some more attys. Really interested in the Tank atomizers that are out now.

Praise be for e-cigs!!!

Isn't it just absolutely incredible how easy it is to put the analogs down once you have a good working e-cig!

Nicfitnation, Evapers, Happyvaper, Juicyclear(New and fantastic!) are all reputable and well known all with top notch customer service.

Stay away from Vapables.com like the plague, I and others I know have had nothing but the worst liquids ever from this place in the past weeks, and its too bad because they were ok before... pricey for the quality, but now they couldn't pay me to vape the crap that they are selling....... not sure what happened to them but oh well ... thankfully they are not the only place to get liquid.

Wow I am surprised you would hate vapables. I got my two ejuices from there first. Number 7 and Amaretto with 24mg of nic in it. I love mine! I would also have to say JuicyClear is fantastic as well. I will always always buy juices from James there. He really knows what he is doing with flavor, pg/vg ratio, as well as amazing vape and flavor! Truly a work of art he makes!

Aggo, been following your progress and I am just thrilled to bits to hear you got off the analogs! Isn't vaping just wonderful! I got my 510 kit and kaboodle set up from Jack at happy vapors. I got my first 2 juices from vapables the day before I got my ecig setup. I quit that day. I have not looked back either. Wow, these testimonies on people just up and quitting like this is so refreshing.

It was to my surprise as well, as I said never had a problem with the same liquids before, the lack of CS combined with the rest is just a shame. Luckily we have something better to turn to!! After dealing with them my pick for Liquids is JuicyClear all the way, although they are all the way on the west coast, fast shipping and $5 to your door can't be beaten. James is nothing but the best in my opinion in all aspects.. Quality of product,returning emails, questions or concerns.... From A to Z JuicyClear has gotten off to a very good start!!!!
