First flight since I starting vaping. I was flying out of Fort Lauderdale a couple of days ago and I put the PV I had in my pocket in the tub broken down (battery sep. from clearomizer.) I watched the agent hit my tub in the xray and stop, back up, stop. She pulled the tub and grabbed my battery. After pushing the button on and off for 15 seconds she called for a second agent. (I'm waving trying to get her attention, I was ignored.) After they both sat and pushed the button for an additional 30 seconds or so they called for a third agent. (I kept waving...) Eventually the third agent turned around and gave me the hairy eyeball. I said "electronic cigarette" and mimed vaping (it was pretty loud in the area.) He turned back to the other agents and said something. The first agent tossed the battery back in the tub and away I went.
They didn't even look twice at the other two batteries and multiple clearomizers that I had in my notebook bag, so I'm going to start carrying everything in my notebook bag (minus juice of course) to expedite my trips through security.
