Bad, thanks for that. We know that you guys are trying and I think, are doing just that and we all appreciate it. I really wished that this worked out. The Clear fluxos are great and have had no problems with them at all. Got some from a friend. I will get some more when they come back in stock. I,m Pretty excited to try the Vortex when that comes out as well. No Worries you guys are doing a great job. I just feel cheated cuz I want a Lucid that works as well for me as it has others.
So sad...
im sorry to hear that, we will take care of any doa issues, we do apologize and that is something we cant test before hand, We are gathering as much feedback as we can from everyone good and bad and then we will decide what to do. The smart cart went through a similar period and since V2 it is enjoyed by many so we will decide based on everyones review if we will look at having any improvements made.

We are trying to bring you new and innovative products in the TANK style designs and its hard to tell always how well some will perform in the real world with all types of atomizers and other devices and we appreciate the feedback so a decision can be made on them.

Ok. So I have the Lucid up and rumming on the Standard 510 atty and... it works. I don't seem to see the advantage over the SmartCart other than higher volume of juice. I wish I had some of the blue foam though. I also have found that I do not care for the Lucids' mouthpiece. It is not comfortable on the lips as it appears that the insert is flanged out just beyond the body, so I just removed it and it is more comfortable on the lips. Ho hum. Ok. My litany is over.

The orientation of the tank inside the atty, as it is on the SmartCart is importatnt...as Chris has went over make sure that the bottom of the tank slot cutout is PARALLEL wih the bridge when you insert it, otherwise you are goign to get the symptoms, classic to what P-Dub is describing and also dertbv earlier - improper alignment will cause bad airflow or no airflow. We are getting good feedback also, so let's make sure we are all on the same page...

Chris may be doing a video soon here and if not I''ll try to post a couple of pics here to show you what I mean.
My cart is aligned correctly. The issue i am having is the juice i use is 50/50. I chose this juice because it is in the middle of the road, Not my favorite but for it's characters.. It is to thick to drip through the hole to the atomizer. I have drilled out the hole to 7/32 and it is working better but just not there. If you take a look at a smart cart and compare the size of the hole to the size of the hole on the lucid you will see there is a difference. The smaller diameter hole is not working for me. I have thinned out my juice a little after drilling and it is better yet. But still not quite as good as a smart cart. Really did not have a chance to try the x. It blew out almost immediately. I am sure that it blew out because it was not able to wick the juice I am using. Was interested in it but really just bought it to try. I would prefer to stick with something standard that i could use on carts or drip when i feel.

I like the idea of the lucid. With some tweaking it could be great.

Exactly P-Dub...
Danno I believe the alignment issues are with the Regular atty NOT the X-atty, Am I correct? As there is no bridge on the X-atty this should not be an issue. When I do try the regular atty I will be conscious of the bridge - tank alignment, but again, as I read, this should not be an issue with the X. Or am I not quite gettin' it?

No ho-hum - real world feedback is very important (and appreciated) ...

the blue foam can be picked up inexpensively at any pet store that stocks aquarium supplies, its fairly cheap and one small purchase will last you a longggg time....

Yes, the Lucids take into acount that the X-atty may be used for it, hence the hole at its diameter. We will speak to them about possibly including a bridge for it that can be used more in the style of a smart cart (an extra bridge in the pack)...thanks for the feedback...we'll be speaking with them later tonight about this...

BTW--can you elaborate a little more on what you are talking about here with the mouthpiece?

    Danno

Any word on when this might be in stock? I see that they are starting to become available from other US retailers.

BTW - Here is a crummy vid on them. It's dark and in Japanese but it does show the size of these monsters.
