Any primer in these is used for pre-wicking so that the unit is primed on your intial drags, its not a bad idea. These normally have no 'funny' taste as it is simple VG, it could be PG but from what I understand it is VG used to prime.

Thanks I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I'm using a 1000 mah ego battery or a riva battery. juice is nhalers menthol juice. Not thin, but I think his nhale/xhale juice is PG.

The reason I asked about cleaning is because I watched the video and he mentioned he should have cleaned it first. I've not used these before and I didn't know if there was some sort of primer that was giving the burnt taste.

Yea like icy said sometimes you just gotta list up the plug a bit when you first get them. Dannoman its 100%vg from what I can tell and no funky taste at all I just fill and vape it until my flavor starts coming through.

Thanks GotVapes this second batch is much better than the first no cracked tubes, one of the 3 has micro cracks but it isn't going to be a problem. Thanks again guys.

No you don't have to clean the visions before you use them, just when the coil gets gunked after several uses. I use really sweet juice so I have to dry burn mine fairly often. You will notice when you need to clean them, the vapor will drop quit a bit.
Don't if you can help from moving the threads, they break easily as they are actually glass fiber, or so I have been told. I did shake one of mine and pull the fiber out of the tube. I thought it would be a good idea to dry it with a paper towel and I broke one of the sides off I have got to quit messing with stuff.

the wicks are silica wicks, there will tear if your not careful with them with time as they are strands put together but with care you can prolong their use, just to be clear, these are disposable products so eventually they will break down in one for or fashion even though they have been known to last extremely long with proper care.

Yea man I love it. Its not going to replace my laptop but it's great for couch surfing and taking to work and well anywhere.

Maybe I should have started a new thread. Is there any info on the proper way to clean them? Say if I change juice?

If I can get these working (haven't tried adjusting it yet) this is the perfect solution for my Mom who is hell on cartos. Even if they have to be replaced they're worth it for her.
