What does it taste like? I've never had it either.

Like a brandy flavor, with cigar tobacco mixed in. One doesnt really outweigh the other. Id recommend it, everyone else seems to love it too. And if you end up likin it, TPR toscano gold is very similar, just a stranger cigar wrapper flavor.

The default is there and set with Drippers in mind. That is why they ask you to tell them what you use. They recommend 50/50 or 70pg for tank users

There's been a lot of confusion with their ratio listings, the first one in the box/list isn't necessarily (or even usually?) the recommended ratio..or something like that? It's been coming up as an issue forever with them. I mostly always order 50/50 since higher VG is too much for my lungs and higher PG sometimes is harsh to me so I'm not quite certain about it..but I just know, it's been a repeated thing for at least a year and a half that I've been following their threads. My memory gets worse all the time but I'm pretty sure that Wlad said he doesn't ever recommend higher than 50/50 VG off the bat but it's an option because it works better for a certain group of vapers.

*sigh* I was rejected.
Sorry to hear that  Dont sweat it... I got rejected by one place after another for four months before I got on this contract. It starts to feel hopeless and dismal, you start wondering if there isnt something wrong w you, maybe an old boss is talkin bad about you. Point is that it isnt your fault, the market is uber competitive right now.. Everyone else had the same idea as me when the bottom fell out in 08. Go back to school, learn a new field fresh start, degree, $$$$$$... Turns out if I hadnt gone back to school, I could go make almost as much bein a machinist again. (It made a comeback here about the time I got my IT degree, and I prefer doin machinist work to IT). There are so many GI's back w degrees, and others who went to college in the recession, that its really hard to land a job w/o a lot of experience. I had almost 2 yrs exp before I landed this contract, and still had 4 months downtime. Relax about it, dont step on too many toes at your work yet, and itll come to you. Maybe something even better this time. I wouldnt really talk aboiut it much either till I knew it was in the bag... Seems like every time I told my dad I got an interview, I wouldnt hear back from the job. Superstitious, but after you go 4 months w/o a job things start to get a little crazy.

I'm on good terms where I work now. My GM likes me and most of the managers do as well. (not that pizza delivery is hard or anything) But still. Since it was an internship, they didn't have to contact my previous employers and even still, again, I'm on good terms with my previous bosses. I'm not dumb enough to burn bridges, as much as I would have love to have gone off at my last job. I applied at this company previously but it was for an actual job, not an internship. My brother and dad both work there so I figured I had a really good chance at an internship but nope. But whatever. I'm trying not to get too mad about it. Just sucked because I found out right before I went to work.

Yeah, it definitely sucks. Id be getting ten more an hour if the market was the way it was 3 years ago and I had 2 yrs exp.. Fortunately computers multiply like crazy and have constant issues, so the jobs will multiply too. Its tough not to lose hope after the 5th or 6th place rejects you. Its even worse when you have to blow 2 hours and 15$ worth of gas just to get rejected. I had at least a dozen phone interviews, then got it on the first in person one. It was just my luck that the boss who interviewed me is a blunt no nonsense ex-military type. I have a bunch of friends who are ex military and get along better with blunt people, lol. So I lucked out basically. So much of the hiring process hinges on luck, it might as well be a frickin card game. You just gotta keep rollin the darned dice and try and be positive. Just be glad you dont have a gf to keep happy while your funds are low, lol.

Well, that really sucks for me because I'm not that lucky. My brother is super f'in lucky, a major reason he's at where he's at but it's a good thing because he got my dad in there. I'm sure my dad wouldn't have even known about the place had my brother not worked there. It's popular within the industry but outside of it, it's pretty much non-existent. It's just been slow where I'm at. The only reason I made decent money today is because I switched with someone and closed for them. I may have to start trying to get more closing shifts. It seems to be the only night I make money anymore. Sundays I pretty much close but I'm used to it and don't have to deal with the closing BS that I do on a real close shift like tonight. (all the cleaning... which I hate)
That and this job is wreaking havoc on my poor car. My car is not that old and it's getting banged up with all the potholes and up and down these crazy a s s driveways. But whatever. I try to have the attitude that things happen for a reason and I just need to study up because I can pretty much pinpoint where crap went wrong with this place. I'm just not good in all these online classes. I lose interest. Right now I'm in this ......ed "Career Development" class. It's like really>? I'm paying for this crap. It's a glorified motivational speaker type book... It's just common sense but whatever. An easy semester after a horrific one. I'm just glad I don't have to retake that nightmare Scripting class.

Did they question the crap out of you? I hate how places do that. You put one thing on your resume, and you might know a ton about it, but those effer's always ask about that one stinkin detail you arent clear on. Recruiters will have you pad the heck out of your resume, and sometimes that can have negative consequences in the interview. Especially for someone whos as bad at verbal communication as I am, lol. I always feel like Im expected to know everything by these interviewers. My favorite thing to say is "If I dont know how I'll stop and google" They always seem to like that, because as you know from doin online classes, you can find how-to's on darn near anything.

He didn't ask me a lot of questions necessarily but it's like... it's an internship dude. If I knew all this stuff, I wouldn't be applying for an internship... I'd try to get the actual job. But whatever. It's just like I'm beginning to question what I really want to do. I'm just very confused. And I feel like the age thing is making it worse. I'm turning 30 this year and while it's not old... I just feel like I should be much further than I am. People are married with kids or have a career by this time. (I don't want kids... just the career) It's like, you have one or the other if you're a women, usually. You either are a mom (you may have a job but it's not really a career) or you have a career. I don't have either. Lol. I mean, my 20 year old friend is in a better position than me and it's sad. It's just frustrating and I'm not sure what to do about it. Do I continue to try to get jobs that I may not be qualified for or get another job just to make money that I may not like as much as the one I do now? Or do I just wait it out and try to make myself more valuable to a potential employer? I think a lot... and this is part of the reason I can't sleep at night.

Ditto on that, I sleep much better now, and dont drive myself nuts obsessing about why noone will hire me.. I get what you mean about feelin like you should be farther in life, I can certainly relate to that. Dont give up on it, everyone is underqualified at first. You need to talk to as many other techies as often as possible, practice talkin the talk so to speak. If you give up all the money you put into school will be wasted. School is a big accomplishment, especially IT. Some of my classes were ridiculous hard, and made me think in ways I've never thought before. Dont be picky about shift, its hard to get a day job until you have experience. #rd or even 2nd is always easier to land than 1st. I know everyone says dont sell yourself short.. Always try to angle for more money, if nothing else it shows ambition. But dont be afraid to settle for less than you're worth now, gettin your foot in the door involves either a ton of settling, or a ton of time off. It sucks and it isnt fair and its a freakin catch 22, but its the reality of it, IME

I actually prefer later shifts, it apparently works with my natural sleep schedule. And the sleeping thing has been constant throughout my life. I meant that one of the reasons I can't sleep is because I can't shut my brain off. I've tried meditation, sleeping pills, natural sleep aids, warm milk, tea, aroma therapy... every now and then I'll have a brief period of time where I may sleep normal but it's random and seems to have no rhyme or reason. I've been to 3 different doctors about it... Nothing is wrong, physically. At least nothing they can do anything about. I am a light sleeper and I skip stages of sleep. Yet even though I'm a light sleeper, I'm a lucid dreamer... and my dreams are real in that I can taste, smell, feel, etc. It's weird.
Anyway... I'm trying not to worry about it too much. It's just in the back of my mind. Always there. As for techies, I live with 2 of them so it's a constant thing. And a work with several. Problem is the biggest techies there are DBs.

Plenty of DB's in IT, lol. And weirdos, introverts, pervs that have never touched a boob, etc. Plenty of good people too. I have made a bunch of friends along the way. As far as sleep goes, I do better after herbal "naps", lol. Cant sleep good at all if I dont nap first:)
