I have found HEAVEN! (and a little bit of a headache, from rapid fire vaping of some great new flavors)
A little bit about myself. I have been smoke-free since March 25th, when the FedEx truck rolled up with my new Bloog Maxx Fusion. So I am indeed, a mega noob. While I love my BMF, the flavors of the cartridges I ordered were just "okay". Listen, it's not like those Marlboros tasted all that great, so I was happy, but every flavor had a phoney sweet undertone that wasn't really "my thing". Just to give you some idea.....to my taste buds, Bloog RY4 tastes like tobacco-flavored cotton candy.
No worries, though, as thanks to the reviews on ECF and You Tube, I quickly identified some good vendors and placed an order for things I thought might be more up my alley. Well, I've got three of my batteries going right now, each with something different, and I can't wait to talk about them!!
Gourmet Vapor - Perique Blackberry (18mg nic 80pg/20vg): NOW we're talkin'!
The flavor is very very VERY subtle. While there is blackberry, it isn't a candy sweet flavor...just a hint. This gives the overall impression of inhaling a fresh tobacco and blackberry infused green tea. It's refreshing, light, and NOT sweet! I am going to re-order larger sizes of this in two versions: 1) 24mg 100% pg, and 2) 24MG 80pg/20vg double flavor, as I can see being in the mood for either/or. The throat hit and vapor on the 18mg 80/20 are both *okay*, and I think my re-order versions will compensate nicely.
Gourmet Vapor - Maiden Coffee (18mg 80/20) I am not even sure how to describe this, other than DELICIOUS! It is like a moderately strong, very clean coffee flavor with just a tiny teeny smidge of sweetness (maybe even a little mocha? although I don't think it is in the description). I run the risk of giving myself a nicotine headache, as I keep dragging on it over and over and over. I think I will re-order this in the 18mg, just as-is...otherwise, I may just overdose myself. Throat hit is mid-level, vapor is great. Love this one just the way it is.....dare I say it's perfect?!!
Vaperite - Perique Tobacco (18mg 50/50) This tastes absolutely familiar, but for the life of me, I can't tell you why. It's a very fresh tobacco flavor, but has a natural sweetness on the exhale without actually *being* sweet. It almost tastes like a cut dried tobacco field smells. Quite lovely. I find myself pushing this out through my nose, and I NEVER do that....either smoking or vaping. Throat hit is fairly good, vapor amazing. Next order of this may be at a higher nic level...haven't quite decided yet. I have this notion to mix it with a little nip of pomegranate and see what happens.
I still have a bunch more flavors from these two vendors to try, and more from FSUSA and Johnson Creek on the way. If they come even half as close to as good as these, I'll be one happy camper!
