Alright, here's the deal.

I place an order from Gourmet Vapors on 11/4. (9 days ago at this point)

I also ordered from three other suppliers that same night. All the others were delivered Monday (11/8) afternoon, but not GV. I realize they were running a sale and assumed they were backed up. No problem, I guess.

On 11/10 I Logged into their website to check my order status, under status, it read "Status". Finding that odd, I let it go another day. Logged in last Thursday to find the same thing, at this point it had been a week. I searched the forums and saw glowing feedback, and a couple posts about them being backed up, ok cool, I guess.

At this point, I was confused, but not angry. I decided I would send an email and check on the order. So I did. Short, sweet, polite and simple. Well, 3 days later, no reply.

Order status on the site is still "Status". So with all due respect, WTF?

I placed my order on order on 11/05 and it still shows "in production". They were running a very popular sale at the time, so I can understand orders taking longer than normal to complete and ship. If you don't receive a reply to your e-mail, try calling their #800 on Monday to inquire about your order. I'm willing to give them a few more business days to complete my order before I will contact them, but I can understand your frustration about not receiving a reply after 3 days.

P.S - don't forget to check your spam folder.

At least your status said "In Production", mine says "Status". Also, they have coincidentally removed the 800 number. Weird eh? And lastly, I didn't even think to look in my spam folder. lol. I did, nothing there. A few more days, then I will be made ad go on a rant....

I placed an order from them during their big sale too. My order was 11-05-10 and is in process. I am not concerned because of the big sale they were running.

I am spoiled. I have another supplier I use and I am informed, via email, as my order is pulled, processed, shipped. 99% of the time I get a personal email from the owner when they see my order come through the system. I got used to great communication with my supplier. I don't think Gourmet Vapor has the communication system in place that my primary supplier has.

I'm not complaining. There is nothing wrong (yet). This is the first time I've used them. Have heard good things about their juices. If I don't like them I will PIF here at the PIF forum :) Not every juice is to our liking, but I have hopes that a couple of them I ordered will be good for me.

Keep us posted as to how you do with getting a hold of them and how they respond to your inquiry. I'm curious as to how they handle customer support.

Thanks,
Paula

This topic is being discussed in a couple of other threads. I've ordered from Gourmet Vapor 4 or 5 times in last couple of months, and have never been disappointed. I was one of the first to order when the 50% off sale went up, and my order just went to "shipped" status yesterday, so they obviously got hammered with orders on the sale, and are trying to catch up. I wouldn't be too concerned about the delay, especially considering the savings we received on the sale. I have no connection with this supplier, other than being a customer, so my opinion is solely based on my personal experience with them.

Got my order today! I ordered 11/4 at 11:00 pm and had a return email confirmation of the order the same night;

Thank you for your recent order. Your credit card transaction was successful and your card was charged a total of $@@ Premixed E-Liquid product should ship in 24 to 48 hours. Custom E-Liquid will generally ship in 48 to 72hours.

with the usps closed on Wednesday, I really think that was pretty fast!

PS Check your spam folders, I've missed alot of confirmations that were stuck in there

I am not concerned. I give every hand-mixed juice a full week for production. I do not count holidays and weekends as production days. When I order during a big sale, like this was, I don't usually think about my order until a couple weeks has gone by. That's just me.

But it would be interesting to see how they are handling the customer service communications during this busy time. If they handle the communications during this busy time, then they will easily handle communications during "Normal" operations.

Communication is important to me and affects how I feel about, and do business with a supplier. Communication is all we have available to us, along with a dose of 'trust'. Hope that makes sense.

I agree 100% that a response - any response - even a canned response - to a customer inquiry is mandatory for any business. I don't know when your emails were sent. Perhaps you will get a response on Monday (normal business day /hours). I can understand no responses on weekends because many companies close down for the weekend.

I hope they respond to those of you that sent email inquiries and left phone messages. You, the customer, took time to make the inquiry. They, the supplier, owe you a response. Failure to respond is failing a customer. Once in awhile an inquiry may get lost, but if several people experience a lack of response, then it is a failure of the supplier.

I just dropped a supplier because of numerous lack of communication complaints. If you take an order via the internet, you can respond to customers via the internet.

Let's see what happens on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. I strongly suspect you will get a response to your inquiries. ( I sure hope so) Please keep us updated.

Same here. My order still says "in production" I sent an email also with no response. I ordered unflavored nic juice only. Shouldn't take this long IMO.

If you check the "unflavored juices" page on the Gourmet Vapor web site, it clearly states: "Due to high demand, expect 7 to 10 days delivery time on this product." This has been posted on the site since they began selling unflavored nic juices.

I don't recall seeing that when I ordered. But OK..
does it also say "due to high demands we will not return emails"

I ordered on the 4th at the very beginning of the sale and got a shipping confirmation today. They are running about a week behind normal schedule because of the sale. JMO, they planned for the sale but they sold way more than anticipated. Based on the correspondence I've had with them over the month I've been ordering from them, Todd is probably working 18 hour days. Normally they respond very quickly, but I'd rather they spend their time working on orders than answering emails.

I have two more orders in during the sale as well.....probably won't see them for a couple of weeks. At those prices, I'll wait....lol

I ordered on 11/05. I both e-mailed and called around 10am on Thursday. When I called it went to a machine which said leave a message. At 3:15 I got and email saying the were behind and that it should ship on Friday; Monday at the latest.

I have not heard anything since.

I hate it when I get a machine. But they did respond to my email. And since even though I ordered a couple of flavors - my main reason for ordering was to add to my stack of unflavored nic at a very low price - I do not mind waiting as long as they answer my queries; I really understand the OP frustration and anger at having their email go unanswered.
