@q & @idaho - you all need to get a room together... i can feel the man love oozing through the interwebs ;)

seriously though, i hope to here good/bad things about the killer vs diver first hand. i'm on my 4th fix attempt on my leaky diver and am almost ready to throw in the towel :(

although, if a 22/23mm spheroid announcement comes out, i may ignore tanks forever!

I've tried all my best with the Diver, but couldn't make it stop ...... all over the place, whenever, whatever on, every time:?: I've already thrown-in the towel thus!

The Killer, is pricey as hell for a tinkerable carto, Diver doubled, is more exhausting to setup in a tank due it's pregnancy:D and has a tendency to unravel it's innards if screwed incorrectly (twisted minds!)... BUT might not leak (it's +ve pin being sealed AFAIK, or is it?), something which all the YT vids seem to corroborate... the only thing that draws me into it.

I couldn't, for the love of me, spend some serious time building one (albeit some nice $$$ too) and then keep removing my atty every short while to wipe the goo off! Besides, I want to bring my SnP into the limelight again.

Spheroid filler question: I've seen a couple pictures now of filler that comes in flat sheets. Does anyone have any links on where to buy that stuff? I bought the big 1.1lbs bag of filler and it's all puffy like a pillow. Looks like the flat stuff is much easier to measure and work with.

Thanks in advance!

I'll be interested in hearing what you got. This is exactly where I purchased the 1.1lbs package from and it's like one big cotton ball :)
On the phone they are saying it is flat sheets. Your experience is telling me otherwise. We will find out soon.

Approximately how many ml of juice?

I find the amount of juice used is a better way to judge since some will vape a ml a day and other vape hounds like me go through about 5ml a day..

Thanks!

I don't use the Spheroid alone... my KFLs run concurrently... I replace both their coils fortnightly... sometimes it'd be 3-weeks too. I'm nearly a chain-vaper... typically can't keep track of the tank-fills I do a day, they are many ;)

This looks like it's flat sheets. I will be getting some any day and will know for sure.
Aquarium Mechanical Filtration Media: Sera Filter Wool

This is Dr Fosters(obviously) and it does not come in flat sheets. It comes in "non consistant: sheet like form. It is the same as this Amazon.com: Filter Wool Media Size: 100g: Pet Supplies

They both come in "layered" lumpy sheets",
It seems to be pain to separate but it truly doesnt make a difference as when cut and placed in the tube, you can't tell.
Either way, be sure that you are at least flash boiling your medium to rid of impurities. I boil for 30 sec to 1 min/ closer to 30 sec.

Spheroid Question ?

How often do people re-wick/wire the Spheroid ? Is there an optium time ?

Tough question, I use my spheroids daily with different juices and wick set ups. As I have mentioned I may rinse off my coil/wick 7-10 days and if it is a thick juice I also run the wool dry and rinse it 10+ days. I dry it off with a hairdryer if handy and dry brn and its good as new. After 3-5 weeks the wick properties have diminished from the eko or silica and in 5 minutes I have a new set up.

Finally completed the setup. SnP tank. My Diver is in the mail from Spain so it's just a LR carto for the moment. Atmistique drip tip topping things off.

How much Sera should go into the Spheroid?
