So the center coil wraps suppose to get 'red' first? Any tips for not getting a hot leg on one or both tail-ends of my coil?

I meant hot spot, this portion of the wire isn't covered with wick and during vaping it will influence the flavour, adding a burnt taste.
Just pull tight the wire, keeping it always in touch with the wick and pay attention not to struggle it and block its capillary action.

So some of you have seen my posts regarding poor flavor from my setup. I am chalking this up as I have been vaping the same flavor for a week SOLID, and it is time to change it up/refresh the palette.

Thus, it is time to revisit my SnP on my LUX with a different flavor for a day or so. I almost forgot how well the device performs too, how convenient it is to carry, and overall completion it gives the Lux.

Microcoil setup by rhino

Wicking fine using Juwel filler, 32 gauge wire and 2 x 1 mm strands of silica, nice smooth vape, I double bubble every pull and it's kept up ok so far :)

I was wondering about that since the original pic did not show coil being fired up.

Perseas,
Thanks for clarifying these points. Very impressed with all the goodies from Domo. I never experienced such lightening fast shipping.

Yep, it is the preference of many Spheroid users in UK, and the blue foam is one of their favourites.
Others are stuck with the Serra filter, others with the fluff filler, many experiments have been done :)
Ordered the Serra since I thought that all you can use. I would love to experiment. Where can we get these other fillers? Juwel, Blue Foam, Fluff.

Fluff comes with the Spheroid and it is available as spare from our store, all the others are available in Europe, but I am sure, there will be similar ones with other names in USA. Sorry for not being very helpful :)

Is your Fluff different from the Amazon Serra link on the Vapourart website?

Yes, it is different.
It comes with the Spheroid, and for a long time you won't need to replace it, I keep mine for 3 months or more.
The same applies to almost every filler material.

Yes, our coils should typically fire-up outwards... the centre gets 'red' immediately upon kicking the button and slowly it extends towards the legs. This is with any atty, not just the Spheroid:
-Hot Legs: Avoid by having the 'shortest' length* between the coil and the post/s.
-Hot Spots: Avoid by having good wire-to-wick# contact.
___________________________________________________________
*Usually doesn't occur when we've placed the coil diagonally between the posts, right 'over' the base's air-hole. And when the wrapping begins from one post and ends at the other!
#This is tad tricky though - gets better as you go by, with experience. Too tight - u r choking the flow, too loose - hot legs! Usually a needle between the wicks, while coiling, and wound moderately tight, works towards a nice setup.

Keeping for 3 months, does this apply using only the same liquid, or are you able to "rinse" and slap another flavor in?

I'm curious how that amount of wick was fed through after making the micro coil, or perhaps the coil was wrapped around? Seems difficult.

I bow to you Sir and I posted it on the tips & tricks thread for future reference!
