Hi Perseas,

I received my new switch and top cap parts today and they work perfectly. I would like to apologize for my somewhat nasty, public rant the other day. I would like to blame it on too much to drink but the truth is, I was completely sober and just being a bit of an cracky old .... I know by following this thread that you take the BEST care of your customers when compared to other mod makers and working in business for decades, I know just how hard that can be, especially when you have to deal with grumpy old guys like me. I apologize. Publicly!

Please let Miro know that I apologize to him also. I know that we all make mistakes. One of my common saying has always been "if you aren't making mistakes, you most likely are not doing anything". In other words, since we are humans, not machines, we all make mistakes.

I am now happily enjoying my Piccolo with the Spheroid on top (thanks to Quarax & Idaho for tips I followed) and hope the very best for you, Miro and your company.

I'll now fade back into the background..

Jack

The option for fast shipping was given as a choice, it isn't obligatory.

Miro my associate in Sofia simply forgot you, there is no excuse and I am truly sorry for that. The best I can do is to bring him in the office on Monday morning to send it to you.

Yes, I let my frustration get the better of me and I was simply bad mannered. I do know better than that..

Glad to see that, was a bit harsh BB. I know you better than that post. That would never pass go on the Zen thread.
Anyway, nice to see the above post.

Take apart the whole switch and clean it, above are all the parts from version 2.5 & v3. In v2.6 & v3.1 there is no spring but the internals of the switch base are the same.

Clean the switch locking rectangle and its base.

The locking rectangle can be seen in your photos, you have to unscrew it, it is inside the button :D

Hi Perseas

I might have a similar problem with my piccolo v3.1. I was replacing a battery and I think the bottom screw got unscrewed and the switch went apart. So I ended up with the 4 parts as in the picture:

Whatever I do I'm not able to make it work as before to have locked and unlocked mode. I don't think there were any other parts and my switch looks different to the picture you posted. Would you be so kind to guide me on this please?

Thank you.

Hello everyone,

Sink just received a spheroid I bought from a member on here (thanks man) but I don't have any filler material.

I'm in the us now, and wanted to know what I can buy from walmart or Home Depot etc that would work.

Thanks,

L

SERA is what you're looking for. Pet shops is a good place to try as it is used for filtering fish tanks. My local pet shop "used" to carry it at one time, but has stopped since it wasn't a "hot" item. I've also heard it mentioned to try Amazon. GL.

Pull the rectangle piece from the forth item counting from the left, the button and screw it inside the other side of the second item, the base switch. Then screw the holding nut and voila!

Hi Jack,

I have posted from the beginning that every feedback is welcomed, no matter if it is negative or positive, because it helps us to be better.

Thank you for your kindness :)

Communication is the master problem solver, so don't fade into the background, your input will be useful to all.

That's what I thought! I tried to pull it out but it stuck.. Was afraid to break the thing ;) Will give it a more knowledgeable try now, thanks mate. You are very helpful as always.

I rephrase it to be better comprehended by others in the future :)
Pull the rectangle piece out of the button, the forth item counting from left to right, and screw it inside the other side of the second item, the base switch. Put the button, while you have placed the spring around its firing pin, under the base switch. Then from above, put the screw inside the firing pin and voila!
