For every manufacturer with ejuices I like, there are 3-4 which were either flavorless or downright nasty for my taste buds. And there is no rhyme or reason. Example: Boba's, one of the most popular juices in the market, just tastes cloying and nasty to me. I kind of like their Gorilla Juice, but it is an occasional drip vape, I'd never take a tank of it with me. Thousands swear by Alice in Vapeland, Heather's, Virgin Vapor, Velvet Vapor, Highbrow - I didn't like any of them.

I've settled in with Velvet Cloud, Ahlusion, some Murdock (although 701 made me gag), Mom & Pop, and Pipesauce, GVC along with a few individual juices from some other places.

If I may ask, which juices do you like?

I total agree a about Boba's, but it is so loved, it makes me think I'm a little whack (no comments please) My all day vape is Mountain vapor's sweetleaf. I buy their 115 ml standard blend and 115 ml of 100% VG blend and mix them, makes it perfect for me. I love GVC, but only for about 1/2 hour at a time.
For me and some others I know personally, It's easier to find the delivery system, than to find a great liquid. I guess I'm looking for the GP Paps of e-liquid...The quest continues...

perseas do you have any pics of the slotted post? i'm having trouble picturing it

If you have the Lux, pull the switch off the bottom and look at it from the inside. The top of the post that is the button, on the inside, has a slot on it like a flat head screwdriver would fit in. Only thing I can make of it is it would assist in ensuring a snug fit of the nut on said post.

The Lux version, if you attempt to snug fit the nut it will spin the button on your finger unless using some type of "grip" material while doing so. Honestly, achieving a snug fit is very easily done without any tools. I would lean away from "cranking" down on the delicate material myself.

Then again, I could be totally wrong in my assumption for the use of the slot on the SS. :D

I noticed the SS Paps has a different switch than the Lux, slotted post on the button. Why is that?

Any other difference between the two, besides the obvious?

My Paps don't have a 'slotted post' on their switches. Neither the SS v2.5 nor the Lux.

Just to counter that my paps 2.5 ss switch has a slot(presumably for flat head screwdriver to grip button while tightening nut) on it. This 'slot' sits inside the nut when assembled.

edit-see pic above which was added while I wrote this! That's the same as mine.

Give Black Velvet Ejuice a try. He makes some damn good juice. Only vendor I ever break away from my DIY with. PM me if you want a coupon code.

Does anyone have any update on paps ss 2.5 brushed 18500 & 18650 tubes I am desperately after some. I will have to make do with a polished 18650 one i got for the moment!

Also is there any ETA on the flat top caps?

I am so so pleased with the paps 2.5, it looks epic with Svoemesto ES kayfun in brushed finish. Would love to get a kick running in there now so I can play a bit more!
The button is also a joy to use cannot recommend it enough! Maybe next it's gonna have to be a lux button?
So thanks guys!

I was never a kick fan, but i got a kick2, because it went to 15 watts. It regulates a .7 ohm coil all the way to 15 watts.(I don't vape that low, but had to try it and the kick2 handled it great) As a result, at whatever ohm's I choose, I get my sweet spot on an 18490 much longer than I do on an unregulated 18650. Next I'm going to compare an 18350.
In any case, the kick 2 is awesome...

My Immortalizer with single ribbon wire coil at .7 ohm's, 15 watts, 3.17 volts....Outstanding !

Question for you Spheroid pros..

Mine is working flawlessly except it's getting very hot when I vape it.

The Paps does not get hot, just the exterior of the Spheroid.

I checked the coil and everything looks fine and it does vape like a champ but man it gets HOT and I mean real hot when I chain vape it.

Is this normal? If not what else can I check to resolve the issue?

Thanks!

I think this is normal. Mine get's hot too. It starts from the bottom (obviously ;) ) and when my drip tip get's hot I know it's time for a break :)

About the juice... I vape almost only TPA's M-type. Had never any other juice in my Spheroid.

I almost hate to say this, but I'm not tempted to improve my Spheroid setups because they are flawless with the boring default newb setup.

I can't agree enough with this statement.

I have tried super pretty and super sexy looking wick and coils. The figure 8, the S, the single loop et al and what works best for me is a flat out easy noob'ish setup.

2 strands of 3mm silica and 30g kanthal. Not pretty or sexy looking but man does this thing wick and vape like a champ!

It's Frankenstein looking with the lid off but holy cow it vapes like a dream!

Hey raqball, Fancy is just fancy. You say "it vapes like a dream!" and it's a "noob'ish setup". As I read your post I saw the wisdom of a veteran.

Thanks, i havent got a kick yet as i was waiting to get the tubes, that has swayed me to wait and find a kick 2. The side contacts look much better on the v2 as well!

Issue and a question.

This is what left of my tank after removing the end caps of my SnP. Didn't get dropped or anything. Broke as I was taking the end cap off.

What's the best way to remove the orings to put the red ones on? Diver will be going in tomorrow and I read earlier in this thread that they are better than the blacks for the Diver.

I use the red ones for the inners when using a Diver and the balck ones for inners with regular catros.
