Keep me in mind if you want to get rid of that 23mm SnP anytime soon. ;)

Sent from my Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk 4
Will do. Chad has already put dibs on the R91, You will be there for 23mm SnP, and I got a pm on a sophia, lol.

I like the telescopic. Easily switch between all my batteries. Typically, around the house, I use 18650. Because I think the ELA looks her best in 18490 mode w/accent ring, I usually use the 18490's when I am out on the town.

The Simplicity is as named. Simple. And, the price reflects that. With the exception of the TIs. They were not inexpensive. However, all of the Simplicities, hit just as hard as the ELA.

I don't use my Simplicities. I like heavy SS. I like 'heft'. The ELA fits that bill. The ELA goes well, with my H1 Hummers and my Ruger Sp101. :)

That is what I initially thought when I first started vaping. Telescopic would be cool and simple for battery size changes. Ela definitely has it for telescopic design, function, speed for changes.

However I am still on a nipple and only use 18350. I have not broke away from this size. I might try to use my 18490s at some point too, but doubt I will ever use 18650 for quite some time.

Titanium is not a good choice if you like heft. I have a 18350 titanium simplicity tube and it is feather lite.I imagine the 18500 I should be getting on Saturday will be very light as well. Also it will be 20mm compared to 22/23mm. We will see if it stays or goes. It was really an impulse buy, but still hard to get over the cost for me.

I have also come to learn that I do not mind the different tube extensions for battery size changes on the gp mods. I only own the "X" right now and it's a great mod, especially with the G-pin. I know the ss v3 and lux v3 will be just as great. I have the ss v3 with spare 18350 tube on order along with the Heron. That was one expensive order. As much as i want to limit my gear, I have a really hard time saying no to GP. Many of us are like you are with Super-T we buy everything that comes out no matter if we use them or not. We just like to get everything that Perseas has to offer, lol.

I hope that you plan to try out some GP gear soon, I do not think you will be sorry.

I hear ya Idaho. Exactly one of my reasons for canceling my order too.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk 4

I'm not going to cancel either order as it is not fair to Super T this late in the game. Objectively it may be ok to cancel but, that's not the person I am.
My ELA is spoken for by a great friend here on GP and an ST fan if I decide. I just dont think the rings, shapes, etc. on the device will please my ocd.
I do dig Kato's Hammer for now and D's Caravela occasionally(she doesn't really use it) and will pick mods up here and there....then sell to keep up in the industry and it is fun but, GP is where it is for D and I.

Are caravela's really worth all the hype? I haven't seen a real one personally so I'm not sure what all the craze is about. I really just think that since they are hard to get people just want the exclusivity of it. I'm sure their good quality mods I just don't get it. I guess it's like people going crazy for rare limited rare sneakers but I dont get that either. Haha.

Sandpaper scares me lol.

Happy to PM you in a bit. Until, Remember It is hand finished and will be impossible to match it as it comes new. The finish is incredibly hard to recreate and close to impossible - I cant, ask me how I know.

Which Reminds me,
LOOOOOP I just remembered your gift to you. I will get it right out! I suck somedays.

I keep thinking that I need one of those PnB thingees but I know I won't be able to use it properly and will make a proper mess of everything :p

Yeah it would be cool if someone can post a youtube video of how to properly use the SnB because I also feel like I would do more damage to the finish than what it's really intended for. :p

I sent my ELA to have some work done. I've been using my simplicity's while it's in queue to be worked on. After having used the ELA for months and months without touching anything else, I had forgotten how incredibly nice it is swapping batteries out. It's so incredibly quick and easy to do, I had forgotten what its like to screwscrewscrew and unscrewunscrewunscrew. It's a minor thing, but I'm so used to not having to do it. I mainly use 18500's (18350 doesn't give me the battery life I want, and 18650 is a little too long), so really I don't even use the telescoping part of it to use different batteries - it just makes it so much quicker and easier to swap in a fresh battery. I guess my point is that even if you're a one battery-size guy or girl, it's definitely a nice feature to have.

The heft and girth of it is not for everyone, though. I imagine the Paps X is similar feeling. I'd be curious for someone to weigh them both in the different size configurations with batteries*.

*please provide weight in milliferrets

Thanks for the info. I can see where you are coming from.

I honestly do not think anyone here owns and ela and paps x. Its all one or the other.

However if someone can weigh the ela in a certain batt size. One of us could weight the x for comparison. But you are probably right, it is probably fairly close.

imo, yes and no. Yankee can chime in as well. Pedro is a good guy. I don't spend much time on the forum if at all anymore but, he enjoys his clan of followers. They are nice mods. Honestly, how do I stop from sounding like a broken record here....We are GP fans. GP is every bit and better imo. There is no secret to his building. I do like the way he does his lists and the way he is humble and appreciative. The prices are reasonable direct but not on a secondary market.

The switches are nice but, it is interesting that many C owners beg for the GP switch. Why? It's better :)
Much of the aura that follows C mods is a psychological game of supply and demand.
Perseas could easily do the same but, he chooses a different higher road and wants many to enjoy their devices and has a much different perspective and different goals. It is the high road in my opinion.

If I could describe GP in one word, it would be synergy. It has been written, when elements interact with each other there is a flow of energy. I believe this to be true all around us and true about GP and their forward thinking principles. It's not found with any other mods in proportion to the number of users across the globe. This tiny little thread compared to the fans in EU is staggering. Look at the members that come in here and post once about their love and move on quietly only to buy more GP down the road.
This is surly not seen on the C forum although I am no regular there and wont be.
I guess the best answer is that, It is all relative to what is important to you in your choices vaping and life.

 took me a while to get there, sorry. whew

Vela hits well. It's a good solid mod and has craftsmanship. Pedro is a genuine guy. He has his followers. That's a pro and a con. One of the things I despise is out if the 999 members who have a vela or a number reserved, there is a "click" of 12 or so. I don't care how many vela and * you own, if you don't belong in those 12, you're an outsider and they let you know it. You do NOT see one person even THINK thy are better than anyone here. Perseas welcomes everyone as equals, no questions asked. No ... kissing.
But this is about the mod. Would I over pay? Hell no. It's great for retail. If I lost ALL my mods in a disaster, my first stop? This thread.

I can make nr-r-nr coils in my sleep, I'm just so tired of leaks. I love the idea of tank RBAs, and I have lots, but I'm using KFLs and R91s exclusively instead now.

Strangely, my Diver setups (v1 and v2) would work fine on a Nemesis but leak like crazy on my Paps 2.1, 2.5, and Paps X.

I think the reason I don't like them is inconsistency. Sometimes the leaks, but also the occasional gagging dry hit...and very messy to change out the wick, even if the tank is vaped dry.

I have the Sophia for sometime now, from the day of its launch. And not once, since these many months, has it ever leaked. Never. I actually find it leak-proof. As I find my Spheroids and K'funs alongwith the latest addition - the Heron (hmm, getting one more!).

Together these three* are very different types of delivery systems and a must have in a/ny vaper's arsenal, Imho. But one thing that remains in conformity between them is consistent rock-solid performance. And combined they have changed my vape lifestyle.

I will in 6-9 months  Although by then The FerretBFBW200 digital scale featuring advanced digital weighing technology that provides a high tech analysis of a true milliferret in proportion to common scaling should be available by then. Of course with Federally funded Grants that are much needed to get completely worthless science in the right direction.

That's what I noticed when I went to read their forums. Pedro seems really cool but his "Followers" have this "I'm too cool cuz I own a Vela" kind of attitude.

And OMG, they have like a whole team dedicated to bashing flippers, I mean I don't like it either but they take it to another level and Pedro himself doesn't even want to deal with drama.

Thanks for Chiming in Yankee.

Hmmmmm. Wild guess here, and likely completely wrong, but... I think I know where you got this idea, and I'm pretty sure I know where he got this idea, and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

"Greek minds think alike."

Fused quartz is glass and it can break, so I thought that having outlet pieces will be a good idea. Our manufacturer accepted to send them all back and refund us, but I thought, why not offer them in a lower price, it is a win-win situation for him, us and our clients.
Honestly, I got my idea from my own mind, and I've no problem to admit otherwise, if that was the case. I am curious, tell me, where did you think I got it?

So I decided to also pick up V3 350 tube since it was still available for pre-order. In the comments I asked to have it combined with my original pre-order. Will the shipping cost be refunded to me at time of shipping or will it be refunded once they see my order?

Sent from my Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk 4

Perseas, not sure if you caught my question but was wondering how this would work.
