I have a 14500 simplicity and it is very nice. David recently put the 18xxx series back in stock. i am not sure if they are any left. I believe the Ela is better quality but I cannot answer that. Super T makes quality gear, its just availability that is the issue.

I initially wanted Ela for the telescopic part. However I only use 18350, so I do not need the telescopic part anymore. Just as the BoD, its telescopic but I removed that part of the unit. I do believe Ela is a much nicer unit than the simplicity line. Simplicity has a ribbed body unless you get a titanium simplicity.

Most people forget, that Super T is just a small shop. I don't think there is more than like 5 people who work there. David is definitely wearing too many hats. But he's basically only one guy with a vision and a mission, who personally bestows his perfectionism onto his creations. He's only got one CNC machine. He used to have to outsource machining jobs to another shop, but has since brought all production in house and the Precise ELA was the first in-house made Super T mod. And the quality that Super T was always known for had just increased ten fold. He's still fulfilling ELA pre-orders but don't forget, since then, he's created an entirely new line of mods, a couple special edition run offs (the Ti's), Precise Strata, T-tips, spare parts and who knows what else outside of e-cigs he machines...

David deserves a lot of credit; however, I do agree that he could at least pass one hat down and let someone handle the online voice of Super T.

Well said, my friend.

imo, yes and no. Yankee can chime in as well. Pedro is a good guy. I don't spend much time on the forum if at all anymore but, he enjoys his clan of followers. They are nice mods. Honestly, how do I stop from sounding like a broken record here....We are GP fans. GP is every bit and better imo. There is no secret to his building. I do like the way he does his lists and the way he is humble and appreciative. The prices are reasonable direct but not on a secondary market.

The switches are nice but, it is interesting that many C owners beg for the GP switch. Why? It's better :)
Much of the aura that follows C mods is a psychological game of supply and demand.
Perseas could easily do the same but, he chooses a different higher road and wants many to enjoy their devices and has a much different perspective and different goals. It is the high road in my opinion.

If I could describe GP in one word, it would be synergy. It has been written, when elements interact with each other there is a flow of energy. I believe this to be true all around us and true about GP and their forward thinking principles. It's not found with any other mods in proportion to the number of users across the globe. This tiny little thread compared to the fans in EU is staggering. Look at the members that come in here and post once about their love and move on quietly only to buy more GP down the road.
This is surly not seen on the C forum although I am no regular there and wont be.
I guess the best answer is that, It is all relative to what is important to you in your choices vaping and life.

 took me a while to get there, sorry. whew

Yeah, but I think GP has a few more CNC machines than they do ;)

I have no idea how many they have or use.

I don't know anything about Super T , other than the fact that they make great stuff and it's hard to get.

I used to scour the internet and reviews wondering what I would save up for next. That search is over for me now. The only two modding teams I'll give my hard earned dollars to are Vapourart and By Leo. The people who run these shops truly really care about their customers like no other. Perseas and the vapourart team especially. Their dedication to their clients is unmatched and I greatly respect them for everything they do.

I will give credit to Super T as they have very good customer service if you call or email. They are quick just as Perseas and Bill are.

I imagine that we do not get as much support online because David basically runs the shop and is working around the clock.

I agree with Chad that the majority of me goes to GP and Leo. I know that David makes very good quality gear as it shows in my simplicity. I also know that at times David will throw stuff in the mix when suggested by members and there is enough interest. I am happy with all 3 companies. I just go into debt quicker with GP and Leo since they put out more.

So maybe this is a good thing that David does not give us new products every month or so, lol

Super-T does always answer my emails quickly. That is rare in today's world!

My vape tab gives me heart palpitations. I have a spreadsheet. Why do I have a spreadsheet? I don't know! :)

I agree. I have had to email Super T a few times to combine orders or caught an error. They have always answered within a very very short time and resolved my requests.

I did a spreadsheet on my knives when I went crazy...bad idea. It was nice to keep track, but when you have it auto calculating the total...not the section you want to be looking at

I have sold off a bunch of those knives because they never saw any use, so I passed them on to people that would give them a better life. I am pretty sure that will happen here as well. I have actually already bought a ton and passed on a bunch as well.

There is no reason to compare either company. Nacho is a very knowledgeable Super T and GP user and friend.
He has much respect for both. I respect his thoughts and it has always been a two way street for us.
Super T/David is hands down the top US builder and runs a comfortable 2nd behind GP in the world.
The Super T fans will think the opposite.
The Super T folks think very highly of GP. The big hitters over there like Nacho, Snork, Vaptimist, etc. speak highly of Perseas and even hang out here. Come to think of it Ol 9balls AJ loves his ST and his GP.
It's nice to have camaraderie in the spirit of vaping. :)

My 'spreadsheet love' is a leftover from my old life. I need to break that addiction! Those 'totals' don't really matter, so I don't know why I continue to allow them to flash at me. :)

Recommendations appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Congrats on your first GP product and welcome to the family here:toast: I know you are already part of the family in the Leo thread, but good to see you here as well.

You should not be disappointed in your choice. Spheroid among all other Gp are all great choices IMO

The Spheroid is a solid piece of kit that, like a fine wine, is only getting better and better as time passes!

I started out using silica wicks but have switched over to cotton and a micro coil and my my.....what a difference IMO. I know when my Heron gets in, I'm going straight with a cotton setup (who am I kidding, I'll try a silica setup as well).
