Does it look uneven or slightly tilted? In our now?

From left to right, the nut with the square hole screws into #1.Leave the nut a bit loose, do not tighten.
The nut could be cross threaded in now but doubtful. Can you provide a photo?

So, #2 does attach onto the threading of the center piece of #1?

No tilt.

Yes it provides the button to lock and unlock. It should screw in and all the way out.

It should be fully screwed in and backed out ever so slightly giving it a bit of play when assembling.

If you don't have a screwdriver big enough, use your largest placed at an angle in the corner of the square hole to turn. Lefty loosey righty tighty.
Spray a bit of WD40 to help break the threads loose.

A very smooth and creamy ale. You get a light taste of the salt midway through your sip , followed by a sweet but not too sweet caramel / butterscotch. There is a nice nutty after taste. That was a fantastic bottle of beer.

As for finding it , the brewery is 400km from me in Vancouver BC and it's even a little tricky to find here.
