For sure. As the time gets closer we'll see who is definitely going. I'll be there for sure on Fri but Sat is still tentative.
Perseas relax. I thought the pre-order worked out fine. I make comments about wanting it badly and the like, but I am just kidding around.
Your products are well worth the wait, and I would hate to see you kill yourself trying to satisfy us all at once. Don't work yourself too hard, but keep a steady pace.

Less than a month into vaping. Started with an eVic. Now using a GP Paps X V1.5 purchased this past Vapourday and a KFL+. Also purchase a used Turtleship and Chi You for my carry. Paps for home.
Already have my mind set on purchasing a Heron hopefully sometime this week with this new batch after pre-orders filled.
Question... Is there any reason for me to get the GP Paps V3?
Of course other than having another GP mod. I can really only use one mod at a time. I know its a piece of art and a bit different with the firing button. But other than having another nice piece of art, is there any other reason to buy one? Is it better than the GP Paps X?

There is no "reason" to get the V3 if you already have the X other than just wanting to own both. The heron will work just fine on the X with the X adapter ring. The button is different so some people prefer one over the other, and some people like the tube to be one piece instead of extensions.

From my limited knowledge and understanding of mechs, the V3 will only come standard w/ the 18500 tube. If I wanted to use the 18350 or 18650, I would have to purchase the Paps 2.1 tubes as well?
Yes and No. Yes, it comes in 18500 as stock. No, b'coz you can actually purchase additional v3 tubes (in 18350 and 650 sizes).
Now that I have both it'd be really hard to pick only one to keep. Before the v3 I would have kept the X over my 2.5 just because of the gpin. I only grabbed the 350 extra tube because I rarely use 18650s and when I do I just use my X.

I have no problem waiting for GP products, and I wish you wouldn't beat yourself up over missing your self-imposed deadline by maybe a few days on the Heron? Seems like a lot of the v3 are already in our hands, myself included. I think the V3 is great, very solid. Love the thickness of the top and bottom caps, not to mention the styling. Couldn't be happier with this pre-order and would gladly do it again.
Ok, got the V3 and thought I would just grab the spheroid off my v2.5, grab a new bat and check it out. Whoops, needed the longer Gpin, which too all of about a minute to change. Looking good. Uh oh no fire and button instantly hot. Quickly removed the top cap/spheroid and yup bat is hot. Set it aside and inspected the bat and switch. Bat looks new and switch looks perfect. Ok, new bat and another try. Nope, same problem. Yikes..
Well, I'm kind of busy right now so putting the spheroid back on the v2.5 and will try to figure this out later this evening. Can't be too hard to figure out, I hope. Any and all wisdom greatly appreciated..
