i'm a couple of hours into my V3/Heron and i'm not sure if i'm dizzy from the awestruck or chain vaping. I love the seamlessness of it all. I'm not much of a cloud chaser because half the time i'm stealthing it...but man is it ever hazy in here. I almost feel like i can chew the flavour that comes out of here. The device is absolutely stunning. Bravo Perseas....and thanks to everyone here for sharing your knowledge...especially Chadsmo/Quorax/Idaho. I had this up and running within the first fifteen minutes. If I came across this device without this forum and had to deal with all these parts a year and a half ago, i'd probably still be smoking....or suffering it out on some protank heads.View attachment 317680

With Perseas blessing, I was honored and delighted to receive and test the prototype version of the upcoming GP Spheroid V3 and am excited to share a few pictures and thoughts.
First of all, I tip my hat to Perseas for listening to the many GP Fans that loved the Spheroid but, wanted a bit more airflow to go along with it. Many including myself would rate the Spheroid as the top atomizer in our vaping world. Now, the rest that needed more air will make it theirs.

At first glance, you will notice there are two very adequate air holes on the exterior base. I will tell you that with the new edition of the air holes there is plenty of air circulating up through the chimney to keep lung hitters alike with a permanent smile.

Breaking the Spheroid down and comparatively inspecting it with the previous version, I noticed a few changes. One of them was the taller air chamber rise on the top of the base under the coil and wick. I see benefit in that any juice on the deck from over wicking or over filling will less likely drain into the base. I also suspect being closer to the coil will allow a better flavored vape(this seems impossible as it is awesome already).
I remember Perseas often instructing builders to keep their coil/wick 1mm-1.5mm from the center hole for a better experience.

When I received the V3 I immediately took it apart to inspect...I struggled with the top cap as it would not unscrew. Finally, after staring at it and willing it off it hit me. It is press fitted with an oring! I must say it is a PERFECT fit! I love it!

I find it is quite easy to push it off from the bottom bell. The o-ring size is perfect and the tolerance fit could not be better. Most of us Spheroid lovers know that on the previous version the top cap often took some work to unscrew. Now it installs and removes like a dream.

The vapor production is incredible and the airflow is amazing. I can not wait for the release.

I, once again am ever impressed by Team GP as all of their devices move forward in advanced design. I also find it very refreshing that Perseas cares enough to always listen to his fans trying to satisfy every group of vapors and he nails it every time.

GP you nailed it with the V3. Thank you for thinking of us. Love you Brother!

All pre orders have been sent. If we missed any, we'll send it tomorrow, but I believe we send them all.

We are going to Sofia the day after tomorrow to finalise the design of GP Spheroid v3. The unit will retain the bottom air holes of v2, unlike the prototype which Idahobro showed a few post before, because we found the flavour to be somewhat muted compared to v2. The small size of the atty doesn't permit us to make an AFC ring. There is another change not pictured in the prototype and I will post about when we finish. The 510 bottom cap is threaded without the external lip of v2, the same as the shown prototype.

Verrrry good vape mail day.
V3 ss
650 v3 lux

4 Sony vtc5's

But I DO need a bit of HELP. I opened the package and am in awe. So I want to build the heron and I start to do a take down and cleaning. I open up the tank from the bottom and inside is the "cap" where the wick goes up through. How do I get that out? I do not want to force anything as I have been extremely gentle in the little I have touched it. Am I missing something? Thanks

The topper is push fit in the threaded deck ring.

The cap is held in by an oring so I was able to slowly get it out with my nail. You can also use a small screw driver to take it out from the hole.
