I am in a multi yr process but I am going to have to 1 up you Nach..

I have a mountain mod case that holds 2x Sr-2's I have 2x12 physical core xeons in ea system 48 cores per system. 24gb ram ea. I had custom water blocks made when these motherboards first came out but still have yet to install them.
My main system is overclocked to 4ghz. secondary system is oc'd to 3.6ghz.

I ran a 32" main monitor with 2x 26" monitors on the sides. I recently updated to a 40" with 2x 32" but had some quality issues. Started working out of town, so I haven't had time to play.

Glad to find someone else away from anandtech, xtremesystems, hard forum that are into computers as I have been:toast:
My systems were built for cancer research via world community grid. I was at one time in the top contributors. I am a bif fan of contributing to cancer research; I have known too many people to die from cancer

Fantastic, I used to have a dual PC in a Mountain mod case years ago. It had all-chrome external propeller-like fans, enough LEDs and neon tubing to light up Las Vegas, and sounded like a jet engine. I'm looking for a picture to post, it was glorious.

These days, I have a tiny custom-built thing that makes zero noise - you have to put your ear on the case to hear the gentle woosh of the fans inside.

I'm old.

I have a 14500 simplicity and it is very nice. David recently put the 18xxx series back in stock. i am not sure if they are any left. I believe the Ela is better quality but I cannot answer that. Super T makes quality gear, its just availability that is the issue.

I initially wanted Ela for the telescopic part. However I only use 18350, so I do not need the telescopic part anymore. Just as the BoD, its telescopic but I removed that part of the unit. I do believe Ela is a much nicer unit than the simplicity line. Simplicity has a ribbed body unless you get a titanium simplicity.

Any atty I've tried, I generally take some time to try to get it working, and if I fail repeatedly, I just sell them.

I've found that a certain percentage of people will hate any atty. And those who have them running like clockwork wonder how that could be possible.

And we're not just talking the same device type, we're talking the same actual device. I picked up one of my 3 Spheroids from a lady who couldn't get it to work - it either gave her dry hits, or leaked - leaked. I've been running that Spheroid for months worry-free. I can't even remember which of the 3 she sent to me, they all work the same.

Poor Akdare couldn't get her v2 Divers to work properly, and we spent a lot of time on them. And she's an actual engineer.

I'm no cutting edge vaper. but I've tackled some of the more complicated attys out there with aplomb. Kayfun 3.1 and KFL? Leak, leak, leak. The same lady who sent that Spheroid has the KFL, and it works perfectly for her. Go figure.

At some point, you just have to say uncle, and move on. That's the beauty of having this plethora of devices in the market these days - there's something perfect for most anyone.

Idaho safe travels my friend...hope you find what you're looking for;) Kat I so agree with what you said. I owned many many Zens and although I fought through building the ss wick/wire set ups I often struggled. Loved those Zens..the look/feel and when I got it set up right...awesome. My first KFL changed things for me...I just could build them so much better.

So my button on my gp paps 18350 is ....ed up, I've tried 2 different springs, and sometimes i can't even get the button pushed through to put the nut on, it just gets stuck... Ive washed it cleaned it, I have no idea what the .... is going on and I'm so frustrated over this tiny little switch....

All because I'm trying to use nipple top batteries with a gp paps

got the switch working, but i guess when u use nipple top batteries the battery is gonna rattle around in the tube. i can't get it to work any other way. if i unscrew the centre pin to make it not rattle, the switch doesn't press up.... :S

The GP PAPS Telescopic post v2.5 can handle all batteries in the market especially in 18350 mode, what do you have there? What version do you have? Which brand of batteries?

Im using the 18350 gp paps with an AW IMR 18350. Everytime i make it snug so the battery doesn't rattle, the switch does not push up and sometimes fires automatically. The only way i can get it so the switch actually presses down, is to make the battery a little loose so it rattles. Ive been playing with this for a long time now and still can't get it to work right. I think the switch might be messed up because I have the exact same gp paps but a 18500 and i use an aw imr 18490 nipple top with no rattle and the switch works flawlessly. I do not understand whats going on with this mod....

Im not sure the version tbh... I don't know if a pic helps but here is one..
