My dog just crawled into a box about the size of a shoe box. I love thunderstorms. Her? Yeah, not so much.

My previous feline pal, Thomas which was with us for over 20 years, was a pleasant and relaxed sort of fellow. When the thunder and yearly firecrackers came around he would get quiet and either sit at the foot of my bed or on me. If they got really loud it was under my bed.

The new little girl I have now, was not planned, she followed my son home last Oct and we were just "fostering" her , but she turned out to be just so perfect. She is a clown, she is not disturbed by anything so far. Thunderstorms intrigue her as she lies down looking out the window. Firecrackers , startle her but she is unphased. Her in Calif , firecrackers are year round.

We have been blessed with this little "street kitty" she has been a joy.

Same problem I had with one of my Herons...If I built anything with 28ga. or bigger, the screws would make contact with the topper and short the atty....I contacted Domo (where I got it from) and they replaced it, no questions asked.....Blake was phenomenal to deal with.....so if you keep having this problem, you may want to look into returning it....

But yeah, maybe give it a good cleaning and try it again, just to make sure....

I was in communications with Perseas and he got me covered :)

are you using the same liquid in your other Heron? I need slightly more fluff with my 50/50 liquids than I do with my 100Vg Ones.

You can have too much fluff but still could still be over filling it. I had that when first using my Spheroid. I could only get a little over 1mL of liquid but when turning the tank over (without the base) eliquid would drip out to the point where it would drip down the center tube (even after a bit of vaping).

If you can't get at least 3mL in an empty Heron tank, or 2mL in a Spheroid, you have too much fluff.

If you have liquid dripping out of the tank when inverted, you have over filled - no matter how little, or a lot, of fluff you have.

The Herons and new Spheroid are a bit more flood resistant since the raised center holes give it a bit of a drip well...

The new heron has 50/50 in it, everything else has 70+ VG. I can routinely get 2.5-3ml in the spheroids & 4-5ml in the heron (w/ fresh clean fluff) no problem. I agree the heron is forgiving to overfilling mistakes [emoji1]

Hey P, I was thinking...yeah I do that sometimes...you know how some people requested a flat top cap and some requested a hybrid adapter...well how about you do the best of both and make a hybrid adapter with a GPin. That way people could have the flush mounted look with no top cap but with the convenience and quality of the GPin?

Again, just my thoughts but I'm sure there's a reason why it hasn't been done.

I understand your reasons for not doing either one but I think this will generate a lot of interest even for folks with other 20x1 mods.

Just to add, I've delt with some hybrid adapters and having to deal with all the little extra pieces to see which one fits best can be such a PITA. A GPin Hybrid adapter will make them all obsolete. [emoji14]

bic lighter (doesn't leak or explode when left in the car)
Precision screwdrivers for wrapping coil and for coil posts.

cliffy15: RE PIC: Congrats on your immortalization! RE KIT: Aren't we all, just a handy dandy bunch?

They scheduled me for a brain CT scan. I suppose, they want to see if I still have one. I am anxious to hear the results. :)

The fireworks had my cats stressed. So, we had a catnip party! All is good!

It cooled off here a bit tonight. If I sleep, it will be more comfortable. Cool!

I hope my GP Family has a wonderful holiday weekend!

I understand what you mean, but I would like to reverse the question. Why all the RBAs have a 510 connection instead of a 201? It would make more sense in terms of simplicity. Atty, tube, switch, 3 parts like Heron and Paps. The only reason for a 510 connection nowadays is to support box mods and regulated mods, while a 510 adapter for a standard 201 connection seems more logical to me. Less is more.

Have a rest my friend and the faster you move near a forest, the better you feel. We tend to forget that the noise pollution of an urban environment wracks our brains in an accumulative way.

Have a great holiday weekend you too :)

I took my dog with us last night for the evening that included viewing the local fireworks. She was fantastic and didn't pay attention at all to the display and the booms, laying in the grass and facing the other way the entire time looking at people until the very end when the entire sky lit up, which was hard for anyone to ignore. Even then, she simply turned her head for a bit and was completely unfazed. She was perfect the entire night, she didn't even bark (except in response to an aggressive dog that we met on a stroll), and she got a big treat when we got home.

I hear ya, I would definitely love to have all 20x1 attys and if I could set a universal standard then this would be the case. But currently all modders do things differently and use 510 connections as the standard and since the current hybrid adapters available are inferior I figured it could be something you can take advantage of.
