THats just horrible, Cucco...... Its those little details that keep us sane and keeps things tolerable...... That kind of change can really ruin our day.... and week and so on.......

Glad to hear your lungs seem to be getting better........ Shingles is stress and immunity related.... Try to keep yourself in a calmer frame of mind, but its hard to do....

How is Tony?

Does anyone vape unflavored(just nic) e-juice? How bad does it taste? :)

Does anyone know of good coffee extract, that could be used to flavor an e-juice?

Unflavored actually has a sweet taste to it, I like it. It's also dirt cheap! I buy mine from nude nicotine. Your wick & coils will stay clean for a long time as well. If you get tired of it, drip a few drops of your favorite flavor in it.

well now im trying a cotton build.. I think a big design flaw is that they have everything screw down.. It would have been a better idea to have the base attach with a washer where you slide it on.. having to screw it on messes up the wick positioning. Its vaping alrite.. it usually does when the tank is full.. but than as I vape the wicking gets more crappy as the tank becomes less full.. Flavor is alrite. I don't know.. i guess rbas are great for saving money, but as for as convenience with the better clearo tanks hitting the market, i might sell my spheroid if anyone is interested I will post it on the sell forum. I don't think this is as good as the nautilus mini in flavor, and definitely not as good in wicking. This is on par to me with something like the kayfun or another kind of silica /cotton reduced chamber build. I say the ceramic wick using gravity without any filler material or capillary action is superior.

and im not trying to bash the spheroid.. so far its my favorite RBA that I have tried, but this one too aggravates me. Ill get the perfect set up and it taste great, than after like 20 mins it starts crapping out on me. I still like it better than the kayfun I had. and I think i prefer it a little over the sophia... Just the nautilius mini is idiot proof. .. and i must be an idiot

A couple of years ago, I found my 'happy place' with e-juice. My local vape store, orders their coffee VG e-juice for me in 500ml bottles. Great juice! Great price. Suddenly, I am having a reaction to it. Like, there is an irritant. Thinking, that batch may have been the problem, I ordered again. Same thing. The manufacturer swears there has been no change in their ingredients. I am fairly certain, something has changed. Possibly, something on their supplier's side. I can vape any of their other flavors(yuck), and there is no problem. Maybe, a change in the coffee flavor being supplied to them? I just don't know.

So, I am sick, and I have also lost my vaping 'happy place'. Not very happy... :(

On a good note... Starting yesterday, my lung shingles decided to torture me a tad bit less. Yes! :)

BTW: Hey Family! Sending smiles out to you all! :)

Glad you're feeling a bit better.
The same thing has happened to me with juices which were my ADVs. It may be changes in the juice components, but for me at least I'm inclined to believe it's changes in me myself. But, not sure why.

I often vape unflavored and as Highwayman says, it's just a bit sweet in 50/50. I kind of like it.

Regarding a coffee extract: FlavourArt makes excellent juice flavor extracts, but I haven't tried their coffees. Just a small amount of their flavor mixed with unflavored can work very well. You can get the FlavorArt extracts from a number of vendors including mamajsjuice, E Liquid Mart, Bull city Vapor.

From your post I understand that the wick/cotton tails are very long and fill up all the space inside the chamber, blocking the air flow, the capillary action is gradually diminished and also when you screw the tube upon the base, everything is repositioned. Please keep them SHORT, using less wick or cotton is better. Post a photo of your build to help me assist you better.

You are not an idiot, but many times the obvious is the most hard thing to be seen. If after 20 minutes you get dry hits, the problem is build oriented, too much wick/cotton blocks the airflow, the fluff is too dense or too thin and/or your base interior is clogged with liquid and the air circulation is inadequate.

If I may add, the wick length I use with cotton is as shown

It's funny how a tiny thing such a taste can change the balance of the day. But it is a great reminder of how small changes of the way we're doing things can affect our wellbeing in a tremendously positive manner. Even a change of the order we are accustomed to approach an issue may have healing effects; taking a break from the enforced habit that we have to do something always in order to feel good or normal. But pure awareness lives in nothingness, it is not a thing like thoughts are, it lives between the states of actions, not into the actions themselves. I mean we are aware, we sleep, we dream, that's the norm of our awareness and it can be described as a condition of being, an action.
If we are a bit more observant we'll see a forth state of awareness; when we go to sleep, we enter in a intermediary relaxed state without any thought just seconds or minutes before we are really sleeping or dreaming. The same happens when we admire a natural view, for seconds we are out of our usual busy condition of doing or planning or worrying about things. We are in a bliss. Reminding this to our mind constantly creates a great healing tool and a problem solver and inspirations start coming.
For example, when we sit to eat, by stopping for a few seconds to concentrate to the taste of our food, the texture of the fork, the action of chewing, our gratitude for being alive is waking up, then we enhance our awareness and connect this elusive state with every other moment we experience it, we're becoming more aware and being aware is more invaluable than time, health or money. It helps to break the conventional entrainment imposed to us by the media, the medical community, the trends, the limited beliefs, in a childlike manner and purity that makes us more human.

Gazillions of smiles, hugs and love to your way :)

On the amount of fluff for my spheroids~ I just eyeball it. I run the fluff around the outside of it, while noting how tall the chimney is inside, snip with small scissors, and tuck it in starting at one end. Sometimes it will cover the opening in the center. I just start working it outward, usually using a toothpick, and it opens right up against the inside.
I use Japanese cotton. I prefer the labo pads to my KGD. They are a little thicker, and shorter, and seem the perfect thickness.. I cut a narrow strip, and pull off the outer layer on each side of the cotton. Cut it to the edge of the deck, put one end downward and the other upward. Fill the bell, and prime the wick. Close her up and that build lasts me days. I tend to like a fresh piece of wick, so I usually re-wick every third day.
I had no idea you could use a mesh wick...interesting.
I love my spheroids, I have four now & two piccolos!

Yeah i just have to keep experimenting I cut the cotton pretty short.. I try to cut it slightly shorter than the building deck length. but still the cotton touches the sides when i try and get it on.. I have to bend the cotton upwards a lot so it doesn't touch and bend down.. Than when i screw it i have no idea what the cotton is doing .. as far as the fluff.. Im not totally sure.. I think im doing it ok.. I was doing 45mm length by 20mm.. Now im trying a longer piece .. its vaping but again as the tank is being used the wicking isn't that fully saturated juicey vape I am used to.
