I picked up my ULTEM tank for the GP Spheroid v4 from OughtVape here in the U.S.

Hi all! I just dropped in to say I received my new Heron and Spheroid today from OughtVape.
These things are fantastic! I was worried about the whole "fluffless" build but had to try it. It was super easy to build and so far they're performing even better than I expected!
I wasn't paying attention when I ordered though, they came with 510 bases so I'm going to have to pick up some GPin bases for them.

@qorax I'm not sure how ribbon wire is measured. Is it a one size fits all for is there an equivalent to 28 gauge to get the kind if resistance you did in the spheroid video? Maybe you posted it and I didn't catch dimensions on my phone.

Edit - you state 1mm by .8mm but the text said .8x.1. I'm guessing the text is correct and .1 is the thickness. Sorry missed the beginning part I guess due to the video controls. But left this in for posterity.

Ribbon wires come in various sizes just like regular kanthal wires.

Yes, the size is 0.1x0.8mm, thickness x width. And that size is equivalent to 28AWG in resistance.

1) There's obviously some limit.
2) There's also an option of letter post for flyweight items.

What drop tip is this in the photo - a GP? Different than the one you had on ? I didn't see an amber GP tip. Nice to have one exactly like the existing but matching the new tank color.

From what I gather ultem is available in a multitude of colors. I hope there's a plan to offer more colors if that's the case !!

Tough call. Buy the spheroid 510 and a couple tanks or try a new atomizer. I know immigrating quality with GP so ill Likely go that route!

Oh on a personal note. After the first to spine surgeries. Some complications. Arm numbness and a milestone birthday. My body congratulated me with a blown ear drum. So noes the time to order. I won't be able to hear the complaining for spending more on vape gear right ?

We use Ultem® 1000 which is FDA and USP Class VI compliant and USDA and NSF approved. The standard colour is translucent amber. The coloured rods are opaque and the green one is not FDA compliant. Drip tips from Ultem will be produced in the future, the pictured one is not ours, but it is nice.

I haven't purchased any, but OughtVape sells some amber ULTEM drip tips that would match the Heron and Spheroid ULTEM tanks.
