Lethalp, that must have been QUITE the moment for ya! I think I would have held my breath and sighed one big ol' sigh of relief! It's so good to know that the build of this mod can withstand a hard floor.

As far as a carrying case/lanyard/holder goes, I'm so sorry, but I don't have an idea yet for you. I keep mine in one of those velvety jewelry bags in my purse. I rarely go out without a bag, so I can't see a reason for me to have a holder/holster/whatever-er. Hopefully someone else will chime in?

Well my maximum vapor peeps the day I had hoped would never come has reared it's ugly head on this cold Indiana morning . I was holding my woodie and my phone in one hand and I was taking the phone to the charger. I went to put it on the charger and guess what??

My woodie slipped out of my hand and fell 4 ft to the floor after I yelped like a pup I slammed my eyes shut and said a lil prayer, that my precious woodie would be ok and not splintered into a hundred pieces on the floor.

I opened one eye just enough to look down and there she was, my woodie looking up at me. Safe and sound!! She took a direct hit and kept it together! Door shut, carto attached, all good!! .

I did pick it up and inspect it to see if there was any damage, and I also opened it and checked my batts to make sure they were ok too. Then I made sure she would fire. Yep!!

Now then this is why I need a holder for this lil gem. I need something that will go around my neck with a hole in the center and a hole in the top for the carto and button. I do not wanna go through this kind of panic again. Any ideas??


And I gotta ask....has anyone else dropped their woodie? Lmao, there has to be a joke there, but I can't think right now.

I would have fainted before it ever hit the floor. Use 2 sided sticky tape...crazy glue...anything but DON'T DROP YOUR WOODIE!

I know, I know, I can't believe it happened either! It was one of those slow motion disasters u can't stop! And to top it off it was on the dag on kitchen tile floor!!

When I yelped, my 5 yr old kept saying. "what's wrong mommy?......mommy, what's wrong?" through my clenched teeth all I could mutter was "please go sit down, I am ok" lol.

Then when I figured out it was ok, I told her mommy almost broke one of her favorite toys. Then she clutched her blanket and said, "u can't have my blankey then mommy, I dont want it to get broken!" I told her not to worry, I would never break her blanket. Kids....

Nope its not going so good.. The Toobies design fell through while assembling them. The bottom cap was intended to just hold tight enough to hold the battery in. The first one the woodsmith made was good. Now this latest run of them will not.

The only one that did turn out really freaking cool was the Woodie Max V2. When I got I tried adding a chrome switch in it and I am not for sure what I think about it. Its larger than the switch I use on the original Woodie. Would you guys like to see it and give me your honest opinion on it? Tell me if its too big or if I should just put the small black switch in it.

The Woodie VV V2 is being worked on right now by Vick (wood smith) and I am very excited to see that one. It sounds like one box that will be perfect.



As far as the Maximum T1 I still haven't even got my beta test group from Dan so they are still working on it. The boss is back in town today so he should be able to get the ball rolling.

The Vanzilla full custom box that Dan had he put the directions in his laser machine at the shop and cut one piece perfect. The only thing was the laser cut all the way through the box even on the other side. So he came over and I gave him another box and he took it. He said he was in a hurry at work and started to cut the piece for the screen to come through and the box slid and cut the square a little off center. So I have to buy another box and have him do it again.

You can add money to your purchase to add your name laser etched into the front face of it for an additional amount.
There will be limited runs of each color of woods. This one is mine Proto 1 that only 1 of 1. We are trying to only do a run of 10 to 12 of each color. As far as batteries and installed equipment I am still working on that.

Now THAT I like, especially if VV is an option, and double-especially if 14650 is not the battery size, since AW doesn't make that size.

I like the size of that switch AND that it is recessed. I hate teeny tiny widdle ones. The finger will just glide and gravitate to that button.

Todd -- Maybe it's the pictures, but I don't see two sizes of switches. Am I going blind?

Thanks, I sunk the switch in deep so you will not have any miss fires. Yes it will be for sure VV with a screen. I am trying to add a juice feeder into this one but that is where my hold up is at. I do have an idea for it to make it a juice feeder I am getting ready to try. Yes these boxes are built to me much more hand friendly.

I think the sunk switch is perfect. Does not in any way detract, but keeps the flow of the rounded cut. Nice choice.

I will go with a rounded box mod any day of the week. I am just not into completely square boxes.

Thanks for the pictures! I'm in love, but I'm uncertain whether I'm in love with the design more or the creator more! I think it's just safe to say that those photos inspire much love! lol

BTW: This love also applies to the big chrome button!
